    So I was having the same problem, the error popping up. So, I did everything you guys said to do, and while it fixed the problem, it created a bigger problem. Most of my custom content hairs, skins, clothing, and furniture looks like it got deleted, and in the hairs, it only left the broken ones I was gonna fix after I fixed the pop-up. I wanted to asked if you have a suggestion or if i'll just have to replace the items I lost

    Do you have Sims 4 Studio? If you do, check the batch fix folders to see if your CC is there.
    Documents-> Sims 4 Studio -> Batch fixes (check the files with the most recent dates)

    If you are using One Drive you may have a duplicate Mods folder. Simply cut the CC located in the One Drive Mods folder and paste it in the Mods folder on your PC

    @lemony13 MCCC was broken today with the patch. Please make sure you have the updated version 4.4.3

    I did the batch fixes and it deleted all of my mods. Even the ones that worked fine

    Is your Mods folder completely empty? If not, make sure that CC and Script Mods are enabled in your game.
    Open the game and choose the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the Main Menu>Game Options>Other
    Next, make sure the boxes next to "Enable CC and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed" are ticked.

    When you say Batch fixes do you mean the Sims 4 Studio Batch fixes? They shouldn't affect Mods at all. The changes only apply to CC and then only to items specified by the batch fix. It should only delete files if you specifically use the delete button in "My CC".
    If you want to reverse the changes you made you can recover the original files by going to Documents>Sims 4 Studio>Batch Fixes>
    Choose the folder with the date and name of the batch fix you ran and copy the contents to your Mods folder. Allow the copied files to overwrite the batch fixed files in your Mods folder.

    I have taken out a bunch of mods. Repaired the game, and I'm trying one last thing. I have most of the packs except for My First Pet and Seasons

    Yes, I mean the Sims 4 Studio Batch fixes. It completely emptied my entire mods/custom content folder. I put them all back in again and tried it again and it did the same again.

    Do you maybe have two Mods folders? You can use your search bar to check. The only Mods folder should be located in Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4>Mods. Sometimes if you have OneDrive two folders will be generated. Also, some people have found Mods folders inside an unrelated file folder. This could be causing issues.

    If this is not the problem, you should go to the Sims 4 Studio forum and post in the Sim 4 Studio Bug and Error Reports section. I think you need to be logged in to post. http://sims4studio.com/

    If you have custom traits in your game, try removing them and see if that helps.
    Some Custom careers have also been broken by a recent patch so it would be best to also remove them and see if there are updated versions of the careers.

    You don’t need to be sorry at all! I am sorry that you are having this issue,
    Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. Put one item or batch in , test the game , take it out. Then test another one, to find the cause of the issue.

    Hello @Vanne Gumley If you use the Sims Teleporter mod, try removing your current version , then download a new copy of it and see if the issue remains.
