((Mods: Please move this to video haven? :) )) Easy to use video editor for total noobs?

I know how to record footage and upload it to YouTube...but just that. So I have to keep my playtime relatively short and everything I do goes into the video. This means if I have to leave that it will just sit there recording and when my sims travel, the audience sees all that, which I'm sure they don't want to. What are some easy to understand video editors for people who have no idea how any of that works?

i use a software called "camtasia." it has an intuitive interface that's easy to read. my camtasia is camtasia 9 and i got it in a humble bundle. they have a new version you can do a trial for, but i can't remember the cost of the software.
camtasia can do other things, like record screens, but you don't need to do any of them to edit video.
