I am not a fan of make up in game, but as for clothing:
    Anubis has great stuff
    anubis360.blogspot.com/p/catalog-clothes.html
and of course there is the official store of sims 3 (Sets / individual items).
Regarding TSR - it's really endless, I can spend hours only there.

Thanks! How do I browse her catalog because I only saw one page, the page linked is a little too cutsy and girly for me.XD
I already own most of the store clothing LOL.
And yes I downloaded heaps from TSR, was hoping to find some new ones though, cause the ads bug me tbh.

It does depend on the sort of thing you're looking for; I mostly create male sims and lean more towards making goth and otherwise alternative guys too, but here are a few of my favourites!
Garden of Shadows is always the first site that springs to mind for me: http://gardenofshadows.org.uk/gardenofshadows/index.php?PHPSESSID=37jtcl9622g7b25hmv91h3s583&board=66.0
I am completely obsessed with aikea-guinea's stuff and it was what got me back into The Sims after a bit of a slump recently: http://aikea-guinea.tumblr.com/tagged/sim-downloads
ThePathOfNevermore's creations are almost essential for my game, too: http://thepathofnevermore.tumblr.com/tagged/s3cc
Tifa's makeup is absolutely incredible, too, for adding details like dark circles and freckles: http://blog.naver.com/kero7423
I think others have mentioned these as well but Pixicat's shoes are just amazing, for female sims I especially love their flats with the kitty face on them, they're so adorable! http://pixicat.tumblr.com/
Club Crimsyn has some crossover with other entries on the list but it's another one I'm obsessed with: https://club-crimsyn.dreamwidth.org/tag/female+clothes
For my slightly less darkly inclined sims, I love Modish Kitten's stuff a lot: http://sims3.modish-kitten.net/, as well as ilikeyourfacesims. I think she deleted her blog, but some of her creations have been reuploaded here: http://notilikeyourfacesims.tumblr.com/

I do love TSR also, but mainly for build/buy objects, but I do prefer ModTheSims because it's completely free. Also, The 10 second wait to download things on TSR drives me up the wall sometimes!

@DampenedLeaves Those are great to! Thanks bookmarked them all.
For Garden of Shadows do I have to create an account to access the items?
    I'm just seeing forums there.

Ooh! I love akiea's stuff.Love the darkiness to it.For sure gonna download from there.
And the pathofnevmore, omg! poses to.So in love with these sites! Thank you!

@Springfairy556 You're welcome! I don't think you need an account to access GoS, the items are located on the forums themselves for the most part, but I think I might have linked it really badly! Try this one, I always get a bit confused when trying to access it from the homepage to be fair :D

You're welcome! There's some wonderful stuff out there; I was really pleasantly surprised at the amount of goth and alternative custom content when I moved over to TS3 a couple of years ago - I hope she likes them! ^^
