I'm having this issue as well, after reading the tread I thought I'd seek some help. @rosemow said to copy and paste the DxDiag, but its really big so should I post it all?

After you have saved your dxdiag info on your computer, go to the pastebin site https://pastebin.com
and copy/paste the dxdiag info into the white box there. Press the button to create the new paste/pastebin text file.
Then post here in this thread the web address of your dxdiag info that is on the pastebin site. You will need to replace the http in the address with h.t.t.p as you are a new member and can’t post links.
I'm having the same issue, I ran a diagnostic test and my computer is working just fine. i don't know what else to do.
Hello @tlea90
Try shutting down your computer completely. Start the computer again, then log into Origin, and try to launch the game and see if that helps.
If you have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.
If the issues still remain, repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair.
Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game
Hello! I am also experiencing a similar problem! What'll happen is I'll open the Sims 4, it'll open and before it ever reaches the start screen, it'll close off into a tiny box with the name Sims 4, the minimize line, the two windows box and the exit. It'll keep doing this, and after a few tries it'll finally decide to allow the Sims 4 to work. Is there anyway to fix it so it can just open right away? I also have done the dxdiag step

I've always had my sims 4 game in windowed mode, however turning off Origin in game seemed to make it work! It only froze a few times but it then started working like it used to! Thank you! If I ever have another issue I'll be sure to let you know! c:

I seem to be having the same problem, the white screen shows and the game won’t start, I have tried repairing and tried reducing it to 32 but nothing seems to change

Hello @tabassah
If you have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there If it has helped with the issues, put your mods/ CC back into the newly generated mods folder that is in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing after each one to see which is the causes of the problem.
