Please help! Which Sim?

I've remembered why I hate having more than one kid per family. I get too attached to both and don't know which to continue with. That is what has happened here...

Sim 1: Loki (both an alien and a vampire, a young adult).
Traits: genius, ambitious, bookworm
Career: Scientist

He is going to revive and marry Mimsy, the ghost in the Von Haunt estate in Windenburg.

2. Renesmee (Loki's half sister, a vampire, currently a teen).
Traits: good, cheerful
She is going to be a doctor

Renesmee will marry Max Villareal. Interesting because he is evil and she is good. Plus, he’s really good looking so there’s that too.

I love Loki because, being a vampire alien he is rare and not intended to happen (plus I think he’s really cute). But, oh my Renesmee grew up so gorgeous.

Both ? As supernaturals they don't follow nuclear family traditions, and surely there's a castle big enough for their coven and all the scientific and medical breakthroughs.

I know... But, I honestly hate playing with big families. Ideally, I play with a couple and one child (no more than two!). I just feel like when I have big families I am always switching between sims and trying to keep their needs up, with no time to really concentrate on any of them individually.

Loki

I love the story behind Loki and his ghost girlfriend. But, I do think the sister is beautiful and I only create females... Very hard to choose, but I guess Loki.

I know right! It’s so difficult for me, too. I guess it will help to see what Renesmee looks like when she becomes a young adult, but they don’t normally change much in my experience.

Perhaps it would be possible to have Loki and Mimsy cohabit with Renesmee and whoever she marries. But then, even if they both have only one kid each I’ll have a household of six on my hands!

I voted for Loki - mainly because....well...those ears, lol! They are both gorgeous Sims though and both sound like they have fun stories to continue on with!

I voted for Loki just because I love the idea of the ghost bride - but both sound super fun.

Maybe you could play both on rotation? Maybe do a week in one family and a week in the other? Idk - good luck, I'm sure whoever you pick will be fun!!

@vancanuckfan86 Renesmee also has pointy ears - just not as pointed.

I think Renesmee's ears came from their dad, whose ears are more like hers than Loki's. Why their dad has pointy ears is a mystery to me, however, as none of his ancestors did! I think Loki's ears came from his alien mother.

@a_niles06 and @LadyDecaf don't worry, even if I went with Renesmee, I'd still make sure that Mimsy got married to Loki. I've never done rotation before as I don't really like switching families but never say never!

@NRowe of course I would! They actually seem to really like each other so I'd feel bad splitting them up. They autonomously are affectionate with one another and it is so cute.
