I don't know how other rotational players are faring, but since I have to give decent hot&cold outfits to everyone, I'll only have time to play the actual game in July. Maybe.
It rained in Newcrest 2 out of four days in my game, and was cloudy for much of the fourth.

These were taken early in the afternoon. Also, I caught 2 townies autonomously using umbrellas, I know someone mentioned they ddin't.
Playing in the rain. He autonomously changed into his rain gear though I gave him 3 options - jeans and sweatshirt, raincoat, and winter coat.
Sunset and moonrise look really lovely. I've never noticed before, so I thought I'd share.
Sudden mysterious thunderstorm came along and scared my Sims. It was about 7am here, and the sky had been deep blow with some clouds and a hint of sun minutes earlier. It was supposed to be partly cloudy.
I've only gotten to play around with all of Spring and a little bit of first few days of Summer in Brindleton Bay. For the most part, Brindleton Bay is cold during the spring and rainy.

Then summer came around and it was a little hot so Akeem's dad took him out to the new kiddie pool
And his dad Shaquille took advantage of the pool while Akeem went to greet his mother coming home from work.

I feel your pain. I'm not a rotational player but I have a ton of sims that I've created and use to populate my worlds. Working on getting a new game set up and it's taking a longgggg time to add hot & cold outfits for everyone plus toddler swimsuits.
I've had the game for 24 hours (and played more during that time than I'd like to admit!). I'm still building a house for my sims! *sigh* I should have planned this out better...

I've just barely finished building my Sim's home. Been busy in real life today. I've started my family/founders in Spring. I'm on day 2. Can't wait to start playing now!

I remade my plum-generation sim for the not so berry challenge, this is Prudence Plum
She's starting in an apartment in San Myshuno, and the townies have random hot weather clothes
Her first day of work was cloudy
The second was sunny
She's still learning how to cook for herself
