If we were supppsed to be venue compliant to park, then I failed.
I don't think we had to. Mr. Lee just wanted a public garden of some sort, with a place to sit and look at flowers and water. I went the Park route, because it was the easiest way to attract townies for the photos, more than anything, but it should also make it easier for people adding it to existing communities.
ETA: I also thought about going the "all natural" route some folks did, using that lovely bush as the toilet, the stumps as the chairs, the carved stump benches, etc - but I kind of thought Daisy might not like people doing their business - or getting up in each others' business - in flower bushes in her garden. XD I also limited the amount of stone I used, because Mr. Lee mentioned being afraid of a mausoleum, since Daisy was afraid of being cold (a fear my mom has IRL, which is why she also wants to be cremated), so anything that's "stone-like" or "metal-like" has warm tones and flowers added to it.
@aussiekarima -Hi!! And welcome to BuildnShare!! While your videos are really awesome, a lovely digital tour of your park and of your Sims. We request pictures because they are a lot easier to use for judging. Please upload photos to your choice of website, this time and in the future. We cannot currently judge your build without them.
~ I have already done so !? I have no Videos, only a Gif??? Pictures are on the Imgur link provided
LOT COST: This one was free, thanks Mr Lee
LOT NAME: Ancient ruins
BUILD COST:
TOTAL COST: §12,000
LINK TO ENTRY SLIDESHOW: https://imgur.com/a/uCZ9wPf
ENTRY DETAILS: To honor his dearly departed wife Mr Lee donated the lot
and had a garden for Daisy built.
I had an idea about using ruins from the get go.
I was going to have the park in town, but faking a 20x15 lot on a 20x20. But I stayed true to the challenge.
So what I had left was the Ancient Ruins, that can not be changed
to a park because the game thinks it's too special. Oh well It did work out nicely though. Well sort of I removed CC to get a link from the Gallery I added stuff to replace the CC but my slideshow is missing some of the new stuff AND since I have seasons all the plants are odd. Sorry but imagine there are plants in some shots and Planters in others

Hey @Cebu2cool - awesome park, we really do need the gallery link for your lot. I have found the link to your lot via the in-game gallery, if you share it to your FB/twitter profile (you can set it so only you can see it) you can grab the link for any lot with CC.
ENTRY DETAILS: I went all out here and agonized on how to create what I wanted to do within the budget. Sadly, I wasn't able to make the path over the pond functional, but it's a build challenge, so I've consoled myself with having built it and how it looks. I had originally built a rock pathway, but building a basement to keep it elevated wasn't in the budget, so I went back and changed it over to using mailboxes instead. Mailboxes ended up being my saving grace xD I got creative as I could in creating all the spaces in budget! Including hand-building a fence out of free cubes.
A small park, though every area leads to somewhere! There's a loping field of flowers to immerse yourself in the sounds, smells, and touch of flowers and plants. A little bench and grave for remembering Daisy and resting. A fishing pond, with a stone path and little respite underneath a cascading waterfall. A 'wisteria' tunnel with butterfly nightlights. And a little picnic area nestled between the pond, flowers, and trellises. Seeing it at night is just as much a treat as the day!

( So I discovered that I had an imgur account since 3 years ago! LOL I´m a disaster! ) ENTRY DETAILS:
Inspired by The Generalife gardens in The Alhambra (Granada, Spain) one of the most beautiful garden in the world... but with the limitation of a budget of $12,000 in my version. I was fighting with the budget till the very latest minute!
I have imagined that Mr. Lee and his wife Daisy were visiting Granada on their Honeymoon and they fell in love with theses gardens.
More in my pictures in my slideshow
I´ve been at The Alhambra many times ( I live in Spain not far to Granada ) To be there is a magic experience, isn´t it?
I´m very glad to see that you like my "poor" version.
