@ZeeGee Thanks for the comments. Quite a few on the other thread thought I was being mean too. I've pretty much decided what she will wear. Got one more small update to post tomorrow and then should be a wedding sometime over the weekend as I'm not working for a change.

@bekkasan , Yeah life is pretty much in 90 minute blurbs lately (takes 10 minutes to feed them them 5 to clean up), from 6 am till 8 pm. I thank every God available that they sleep through the night!!

As soon as they got home, Jared and Alexandra made a joint call to her parents. With big smiles on their faces they excitedly tell Dimitri and Kiara the new plans for the wedding. Stunned silence and then excited squeals from Kiara erupted into the phone. "Champs Les Sims, oh my goodness! Are you sure you can do this?" Dimitri finally found his voice and asks "Did you win the lottery boy? I hope so because we can't help pay for this and I don't want to disappoint you, but it is out of our league."
Jared quickly explains about his bonus with his promotion and the investments around town and in the movies paying off really well. I want this day to be very special for Alexandra as well as myself. We want her family around us and a few close friends as well. We can afford it." They discussed which dates would be the best and they will confirm after they contact the agent in Champ Les Sims and make the reservations.
The reservations have been made, the invitations have been sent. Jared and Alexandra worked together to get it all done timely. Just a few more days and they will be whisked across the ocean in a private jet with their family and friends for the wedding.
Jared made a last minute decision and sent off a copy of the invitation in an email to the family lawyers. He sent a cover letter with it asking the lawyers to let his family know about his wedding. He knew if he sent the invitation in the mail it would be returned unopened like his previous correspondence was.
Brian and Melee arrived and it was as if they had never left. They talked and laughed and enjoyed a visit before Alexandra's family arrived.
The Sims family arrives and Dimitri seems excited to be there. He gives his daughter a big hug and holds her tight. "I love you baby girl, I can see how happy you are. I'm so proud of you. I was terrified letting you come to this big city by yourself when you first talked about what you wanted with your life. I knew I had to let you go though. I have to let you go again, but you remember you are always my baby girl and I'm not far away when you need me. I'm not terrified this time, because I know Jared loves you and will be good to you."
Alexandra smiles at her Dad, tears forming in her eyes. "Now don't you start bubbling, your Mama will pop me one."
Alexandra grins as a few tears spill out, "I love you Dad!"
Jared greets the younger boys and then gets a bear hug from Dimitri and a softer one from Kiara. Soon, they hear the beeping of a horn signalling the limo has arrived to take them to the airport.
Aaaaaaaw! I hope there is at least one nice person from Jared’s family that shows up. Again, love your clothing choices and how it shows such individuality!
The group arrives early the next morning after a champagne breakfast in the skies over France. Some of the group will be staying at the hostel while others will be staying at the renovated hotel across town near the chapel.
Alexandra checks into the honeymoon suite and once the other ladies have checked into their rooms they join her in the room to get ready for the wedding. Emily Starr one of her first friends in the acting career hands her a present and she quickly opens it after thanking Emily. She holds it up and knows it will fit perfectly under her wedding dress. The other ladies have changed clothes and she quickly dons her new corset from Emily. She has something new and something blue now as it is white lace, with a soft silvery blue trim. Everyone is ready except for Alexandra. Her Mom opens the garment bag that has been protecting the gown and Alexandra is ready to put the gown on. Her gown is something old as it was Kiara's gown, and her bracelet is borrowed as that is Melee's.
Nikita changes clothing to get ready for the wedding and gets Erik dressed up in his new suit. He hopes Erik will manage to keep it clean at least until after the pictures are taken. He joins the other men already in the suite his brothers are sharing where Jared is getting ready.
Dimitri looks up as he comes in with Erik. "Well at least you and Erik are ready. Zan, Anton and Jared are taking their sweet time about getting ready."
Jared looks up from inspecting himself in the mirror and smiles at Dimitri. He thinks to himself, I really don't need all this help but it is fun having everyone here chatting and laughing as we get ready. This is what family should be like he thinks sadly. He clears the negative thoughts out of his mind and pictures Alexandra instead, walking down the aisle, his beautiful bride.
Matthew, Jared's good friend from work arrives and Zane recognizing him as the star of many epic films makes a bee line for him and starts chattering away. Matthew patiently answers his questions and is surprised at the boys knowledge of the films some, older than he is.
Brian sees that Jared has finished changing into his tuxedo. "Hey dude, you clean up pretty good." Jared laughs, "Your not so bad yourself."
Across town at the hostel a young couple have checked in. He takes her hands, "I can't thank you enough for coming with me. For the first time in my life I know I'm doing the right thing, but, I'm terrified. What if he can't forgive me?" He sits down on the loveseat shaking his head. "After Jared left, the house was like a tomb, no laughter at all. Just silence. I never realized how much my brother meant to me, until he was not there anymore. I finally couldn't bear it any longer, so I moved out. That wasn't the answer either. Laughter didn't come back in my life until I met you. I tried to find out where he was living, but, my parents refuse to discuss it. I was never so glad to see a lawyer in my life than a few weeks ago when the family lawyer showed me the wedding invitation."
She listens patiently, "From what you've told me of your brother he would not have sent the invitation if he did not want you and your parents in his life. He wanted you to know so he reached out the only way he could. I'm sorry your parents are too stubborn and set in their belief system to allow him back in. Its their loss and I'm sure he will be happy to see that you cared enough to come to his wedding."
He stands and reaches out kissing her and holding her tightly. "I love you, I don't know what I did to deserve finding you, but I'm not letting you go."
(Meet Derek Padelecki, Jared's older brother who is disciplined, genius, schmoozer, proper and ambitious. His goal in life is to be CEO of a large corporation. His girlfriend is Kendall Clark his complete opposite. She is eccentric, excitable, has a good sense of humor, is nurturing and lucky. She jumps around from job to job and wants nothing more than to be a jack of all trades. Having Jared as a brother and now Kendall as his girlfriend will keep Derek from falling in the life of blandness his parents tried to set for their children. Don't fall in love with her hairstyle as it glitched badly and I had to switch it out after taking these pictures.)

We stick by our loved ones, and I want you to know you can always come to me for anything. I also expect grandbabies, soon!" Dimitri laughs at the stunned look in Jared's eyes. Dimitri hugs Jared and pats him firmly on the back. "Yes, soon. You will make wonderful parents. I'm going up to Alexandra now. Go wait for your bride in the chapel."
Derek and Kendall are the first to arrive at the chapel. They look around and both agree this is a beautiful spot to get married.
Brian has walked over to the chapel and finds Melee waiting outside the chapel. She looks amazing and he tells her how beautiful she is. "It is not my usual style, but it is a beautiful dress."
Alexandra looks at her Dad as he arrives in her room. "Dad, were you nice to Jared? No threats?
Dimitri grins at his daughter. "Of course, I was nice to him. I like your Jared very much. I did give him something to think about though. He looked a bit shell shocked when I left him. It was not a threat though, more like a request."
Kiara looks at her husband, "What did you request?"
Dimitri grins and laughs, "Grandbabies!"
"Daddy"!!! shrieks Alexandra and shakes her head. "He already knows babies is part of the deal."
"Thank you both for making this day so special for us. I love you both. My heart is so full of joy and I don't even want to cry happy tears today." She hugs them both and her Dad escorts her Mom over to the chapel and then returns for her.
Jared and Brian enter the chapel. They walk to the front to take their places and await Alexandra. Jared turns and looks out at his friends and new family. His heart races as he spies his brother Derek sitting in a pew.
He walks back down the aisle with his eyes fixed on his brother. Derek stands and they look at each other, both a bit nervous. Jared smiles at his brother. "Oh my goodness!" Jared exclaims. "I cannot believe it, I am so happy you came. This perfect day just became more perfect." He reaches out and hugs Derek and calls out to his friends and family, "This is Derek, my big brother." "I hope you can stay awhile so we can visit together. I can't wait for you to meet Alexandra."
"I was thrilled when the lawyer brought me a copy of the invitation. I finally knew I could reconnect with you." Derek explains. "I'm looking forward to meeting your bride. I don't want to interrupt your plans or honeymoon for that matter."
Brian calls out, "Hey dude, the music is starting and here comes the bridesmaid! You want me to stand in for you?" The crowd laughs and Jared grins at his brother one more time and hurries back up front. "You are not interrupting plans. This wedding is all about family and you are family. We will talk later, please don't rush off!"

I read all your update but am living by the clock lately (ruled by some ravenous baby birdies!!) so my comments have to be very brief. Hopefully life will be back to semi normal by the weekend.
@Charlottesmom Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the wedding and I'm ready for them to have some babies too and @Mikezumi has been ready for babies for even longer! She has been very patient with my slow play. I'm gonna let them have risky on the honeymoon and see what happens.
Jared and Alexandra enjoyed celebrating their marriage with their family and friends. The reception lasted until the middle of the night. Alexandra was finally able to meet Derek and his girlfriend and spend a few moments chatting while they ate some cake. They made plans to meet up later in the day at the nectary to continue getting to know each other.

Cheating to get slow dancing is a brilliant idea! I would love slow dancing in my game but am not ready to install Supernatural.

@Mikezumi Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you liked the slow dancing pics. It was fun setting them up since I couldn't do it for real in game. I'll look for your updates in the morning. I don't have to leave too early to do visits tomorrow. I had CPR recertification class today and my wrists are sore from pressing on the mannequins chests. Arthritis is getting worse. Getting old is getting old!
@bekkasan I totally relate! Some days my hands are very sore! Luckily I am not as bad as my mother was. Her hands were so gnarled and nearly useless and, from memory, her problems had already started by my age. Of course I still have time to get there
