Now that you mention I didn't see it either. Unfortunately with sims 4 I've taken the approach of if they haven't shown it, it probably isn't in there.
Now this is only the first trailer but I wouldn't get. My hopes up for anything that hasn't been shown.
They don't show everything in the trailer. They often like to leave a little information hidden until the gameplay video or the release of the game. Hail was in 2 and 3, I doubt they'll leave it out of 4. I'm hopeful that it'll be there.
I still think they are holding up information since this week is just the announcement, if you look closely, they don't share information about each seasons that much yet, only objects, but not yet in detail about every seasons, perhaps we will start to get flow of news next week or at EA Play.
I don't think Blizzards are either.
I was hoping for power outages, freezing pipes, was really hoping there's an AC, Furnace, and Boiler object to cool, heat homes and water.

But, is that like a Blizzard of '78 standards? I feel like My concept of a Blizzard and their concept are two different things.
My definition: School/work cancelled, traveling is a no go. You walk out the door and the snow comes up to your thighs.
it's below 0 and ice is hurting your face, and you're considering moving to a warmer climate.

And for me that isn't a blizzard, that is a normal February day in Western Canada.
This will likely be an unpopular opinion, but when have I ever been concerned about being popular in this stretch of the internet?
Unless the frequency of hail is drastically reduced I'd rather it be excluded. It was hailing out all the time in the previous two iterations, and while I do live in a region that receives scant precipitation I have a hard time believing that there are areas out there that get 50% of their summertime precipitation in the form of hail.

True. I don't think I've experienced hail 20 times in my life and I'm in my 30s living in the northeastern US
This is irritating because hail is totally important weather and totally doable.
It certainly is doable - hail is effectively rain (in terms of an effect) - ie if we have rain, then we can have hail, but as long as people are not going to say they want it to collect on the ground etc as individual hail stones, etc.
EDIT:
Having it hit the ground/a surface, like a 'pretend' rain drop hitting a surface is easy enough - it's the same thing.
Nobody has yet to confirmed? That could mean only one thing... (no reasons why its yet to be confirmed, because isn't the point of buying/hyping us over to purchase the pack more and more? Very unlikely they keeping and saving the secret till EA PLAY or live stream).

We've only had the first trailer so far. We're at the beginning of marketing. I'm sure we'll learn stuff like this

Yup was wondering the same.
I'm even wondering if there are gradual weather changes and different intensities of rain/snow etc.
