Best mods?

exyurockexyurock Posts: 25 Member
Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask for recommendations on best mods for Sims 2. I have all EP's. I have downloaded most good mods from MTS, and I would like to learn about other modders from other sites.

Have you looked into Sim Blender? Also you may need to look into some fixes which I can link you to if you want? Some of the previous functions were nerfed after Free time and they will need the fixes.

Meh, not particularly, I just mainly went after patches, fixes and both global and core mods. Though I'm not sure if I can link one site on here. I do know leefish isn't liked. I'll send you the link for the fixes via message.

The fixes, you look for the latest pack installed and it will fix all the issues (least the ones you need fixed).

Don't know if you have this mod - it is pretty much a fix for the black boxes below your sim

What does this sim blender do? This is the first I'm hearing of it.

It was created by TwoJeffs, and combines SimPE tools and added other enhancements into one big mod.

Mods to help your game not explode. :D

Nosimloaded. This mod was made by Bo and is on Leefish, so no links allowed. Just google no sim loaded and it will pop up.

Also by Bo, no trash memories and no met self memories. (Bo has a lot of great mods!)

creaturefixes if you like to play with supernaturals http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php?topic=1482.0

    Anti-redundancy http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php?topic=9607.0

Just be careful of some of Pescado's mods you may find. He tends to add things to them to change the game and doesn't tell you. :/ The ones linked above are safe.

College adjuster is awesome if you want to be more in control of the time your sims spend at college. Link to Simbology above by TwoJeffs.

Chris Hatch also has a ton of great mods, including one to allow you to put clothing on the baby. :) And a wide screen fix for monitors for CAS. There is a listing with all his family friendly (no adult mods) mods.

Basically anything that looks good for your type of gameplay. Not everyone likes the same mods. If you are looking for something specific, let us know. :)

Note: if you use a Chris Hatch mod, check to make sure it's recent. He retired before Free Time, if I recall correctly, and often people have updated his mods so they run better with FT and AL.

Everything by MATY they make the Sims 2 as true to life as possible. I don't think I'd be a fan of the game without their mods. I also swear by the Insimenator.

I have the mod that makes a semester 48 hours I think? Shorter semesters. All they do is learn and then exam and then maxmotives and repeat lol.

Does anyone have a copy of "Customer Limit Adjuster"?? -- the Sims 2 Wardrove website went down and I cannot find the mod anywhere else on the internet.
