Your Ancient Rome home looks very grand! @Ainsleyf The layout of the build looks very great! It looks very nice the way that the home is built around the middle Roman Baths courtyard ! I have posted about the courtyard in an earlier post. It looks so very nice! Very ornately nice exterior of the home! The white colour scheme of the exterior walls and the statue sculptures on the roofing areas looks very nice! The floor patterning in the rooms adds a great look to the rooms. Very creative design of the altar nook in the temple area! Sims will enjoy meditating on the stools.
It is a very nicely designed home that reflects Ancient Roman times very well!
No. 28 Rome
My ancient sims are moving ahead into greek/roman times and I'd love to see something reminiscent of that! You can build a famous building from Rome, or a family home, or a village, or maybe even some shops or a restaurant... where ever the winds of creativity take you! It just has to be ANCIENT Greek/Roman inspired.
Really looking forward to this one, the expansion packs will give you so many fun options! Or if you're into CC (like me!) there should be some really fun stuff out there to find! GOOD LUCK!
Due Date: May 16
do I still have time to turn mine in?! I’ve been moving houses Irl and I’ve worked so hard on mine
I will look forward to seeing your build! @VagueNightmare Moving house is a very stressful and tiring time. I hope that the settling into your new home and community goes well.

Back story: Welcome to Ancient Rome! I have built several key structures from actual ancient Rome! the most prominent 2 you will notice is an aqueduct, and the grand Colosseum! Have your sims preform for the rich and if they suck? well feel free to open the animal cages to fight a ferocious Big cat or dangerous Gigantic Lizard! before or after your sims go to the Colosseum they can spend their time at the local market! lots of trinkets and valuables to buy to decorate their home with! (The market is purely Aesthetic if the lot is residential, but if changed to Retail could actually function as a market. Lot is currently set as Residential) Conveniently located next to the market is the Public Bath! the beautiful lush plants and amazing mural (courtesy of tiya33) will make your sims never want to stop soaking! there are also communal toilets, but fear not! your sims wont be embarrassed by the openness of the room as each toilet is technically in its own room! convenient! A short walk from the public bath is the LLama worship temple. Prayer mats(yoga mats) and offerings can be found at the bottom of the large Llama statue that dominates the room. Will your sim be graced by the Llama god?(the first level of the llama temple is empty and not usable but i suppose if you wanted to change that it would be really easy to do something with the blank space. personally i didnt want anything under it so thats why its blank) to finish off the tour you will find 3 houses occupying the lot. All furnished and ready for your sim families to move in! the smallest house features a small kitchen/ dining room downstairs, and 2 bedrooms upstairs(parents bedroom and Childrens room) Right next door is the clearly much richer House built for a single sim or couple! they have a lavish lifystyle that is clear by the way the home is decorated! Tapestry's, rugs, and paintings from far off lands bring color to this home! The largest home (roman domus) is quite grand! featuring a beautiful court yard that is the center of the home! on the 1st floor you will be met with the houses communal bathroom for guests and the inhabitants of the home! to the left you will find the lounge room where your sims may paint, woodwork, play chess, or uncover the secrets of selvadorada! on the opposite end of the home is a large kitchen/dining room for your sims to entertain guests with delicious meals! Upstairs is the living quarters of the domus. going up the stairs on either side you will be greeted with lush themed sitting rooms with which to enjoy art (courtesy of Glass4Swan and jlewi38) on each left and side of the domus you will find 2 identical bathrooms for your sims. there are also 3 bedrooms! A childrens room on the right side of the home with study desk and science table. a guest bedroom or teens room on the left side of the house(art courtesy of franafrica), and the main bedroom in the middle(Art courtesy of tiya33). I have also linked the whole imgur album to this comment just because 3-4 pictures does this build zero justice for how much there is to see.
Ancient Rome is such a very detailed build! @VagueNightmare Each area of the build looks so very great! You have so very creatively built the exteriors of the buildings, and the furnishing of the interiors looks very nice! The colloseum looks so very great! The levels of the colosseum and the seating there looks very nice! The greenery and the mural in the public baths adds a special look to the venue. The large llama statue and the prayer mats in the temple are great touches there You have put so much work into the build! It looks very nice how you have designed and furnished the three types of homes. The layout of the build is very nice! Very nice marketplace area. There are so many great feature areas in the lot that it would be hard to write about all the great details!
The build is very creatively great!
Thank you @rosemow! I told you I put a lot of time into it haha. I'm so happy I didn't miss the deadline to submit this. Next time I do the era challenge I will definitely be using this for my roman era sims! For now though my sims can just enjoy this lot(I changed it to a park venue in my game!)

Your lot would work well as a park venue in the game The result of all the time that you put into the build is a very great Ancient Roman build!
Started working on my wedding venue the other day! My legacy is STILL in the ancient Egypt generation (cause I'm so lazy I can't even find time to laze around and play sims.... how lazy is that?!) so mine will be Egyptian-inspired. What will yours be inspired by?!

Hello @fabtiffsim I hope that your work on your Egyptian themed wedding venue continues to go well
Hi pals! I'll give you the rest of today to finish up (if anyone is working on this one!) and I'll post some pics of mine today too! Doesn't look like anyone did this one so I'll post the new challenge right away, and anyone working on an ancient wedding venue can still count if they post today!
Ka-Ru-Ma-Ma is a very nice wedding venue! @fabtiffsim The architectural design of the venue looks so very great! The two flights of stairs leading up to the upper level looks very nice! Very nice dome roofing! The cushions look pretty on either sides of the wedding alcove for the guests to enjoy sitting there watching the wedding. The wedding reception room looks very grand! Very nice flooring. The drape curtains add a very special look to the room. The candlelights on the dining table and ceiling candlelights are special touches, and the flowers are pretty for the sims to see when eating their meals at the tables.
Sims will enjoy getting married there
This can either be a temple dedicated to the Nymphs or where would this mythological being live? It's pretty much an ancient roman fairy (kind of haha) so let's see where this inspiration takes you!
Due date: June 13
Good luck prehistory pals!

@fabtiffsim Should this be a functioning home with like...a toilet and fridge and stuff? Cause what I have in mind isn't lol. I just wanted to be sure so I don't make something super useless

No I don't think so... Just inspired by Ancient Greece and whatever the description of Nymphs inspires you to build! I'm not very strict about anything

@Ainsleyf Oh my, I hope you finish your villa! I love the sunken bath with the petals and all the steam. I want to see more.
