Photoshop CS6 on Mac DDS file plugin for recolors

BoredinTXBoredinTX Posts: 350 Member
I just started to learn how to recolor. I am working on some base game shoe recolors. I can't seem to figure out how to save it as a .dds file. I have a Mac and Photoshop CS6. I know I need a plugin but I can't really figure out installing it... or even where to get it.

EDIT: I figured out what I was doing wrong. I hadn't closed and reopened Photoshop. Disregard.

I am glad that you have solved it. Note, you can also work with the .png format! ;)

I read somewhere that I could use .png, but was not sure about it. Glad to know that .dds is not long need it.
