I found this video showing Timelapse of Sims 3 worlds, and I started thinking "How could anyone say Sims 4 isn't a stop backwards from this?". Omg thank you for that thread! I had read about this kind of mods a few years ago, but then I totally forgot about it xD But now that I see those videos and pictures... I NEED TO GET ONE! :D
