@Jude525 - The Superpatch is to patch the base game and expansions. The patches that ZeeGee has provided is for store content. You have provided good advice that everyone download the Superpatch but they will also need the store patches.

Thank you. I had NO idea. Heck, I had no idea EA had ever gotten around to actually fixing store content when bugs were discovered! They left so many bugs unresolved. Since I wasn't around as each item was released, I never saw the process and it never occurred to me.
I miscalculated, had to pay 10 sp for Best of 2010 but still, thank you again @rnramey and @vampyrelucia ! (and it's the middle of the night here, so I'm going to sleep again)
Here's a big one, which may not be universally translatable, but it should help you brainstorm your own path:

I should have Island Escape Compilation and Load of Laundry free as well on the DD when they come up (I added them both to my planning). And it's so many different objects who can go to different projects, I can't wait to play with them (but alas, the life outside my computer is time consuming right now).

Same here! World Adventure is buggy as [name it] and it was never fixed! When you edit the subworlds, tombs or NPC lots, you come accross large unfinished areas that were clearly cut at the last minutes! (Green Oasis hidden tomb and topfloors of French markets being the best examples!)

I see that daily deals are still being posted, but when I try to go to the store site, my internet keeps saying it’s down for maintenance. Is no one else experiencing this?
@jordand I just tried to log on to the DD page and it worked fine for me on my iPad using safari. Maybe try a different internet thing, eg. Google Crome, internet explorer, Firefox. Also make sure caches are cleared in internet explorer (not sure if it effects being able to get the DD up but it effects being able to do other stuff).

@me1620, as I've mentioned, whether here or elsewhere, don't be TOO jealous of TS4 updates. I'm still finding bugs unresolved in my game that they claim are fixed. And because they insist they are fixed I'm getting literally no response on the forums when I ask for help. Even after one of the gurus asked for a save game file, they never got back to me.
Yesterday I resorted to the EA suggestion to everything. A slash and burn. Deleted everything, reinstalled and started a new game with new Sims. I don't really feel like playing City Living this week, but I want to see if this resolves the problems I've been having. I will admit that when I sent my Sim on a camping trip prior to this his friend actually stayed the whole trip, rather than returning home the first night as had every previous time. But, even if this resolves my situation, EA still left me hanging as far as support goes.

But, for my edification, what do those patches do? I know the superpatch keeps the earlier releases compatible with later content.

@Jude525 - The store patches correct store content that was not working correctly such as a dress where the legs would not display or a chair which the Sims could not sit in. The Superpatch does not make corrections to store content, only bugs that relate to the play of the game.

Thank you. I had NO idea. Heck, I had no idea EA had ever gotten around to actually fixing store content when bugs were discovered! They left so many bugs unresolved. Since I wasn't around as each item was released, I never saw the process and it never occurred to me.

@Jude525 - The patches did not come often enough and they certainly did leave so many bugs unresolved with store content and game programming. I get jealous seeing the number of patches for Sims 4.

Same here! World Adventure is buggy as [name it] and it was never fixed! When you edit the subworlds, tombs or NPC lots, you come accross large unfinished areas that were clearly cut at the last minutes! (Green Oasis hidden tomb and topfloors of French markets being the best examples!)

Yesterday I resorted to the EA suggestion to everything. A slash and burn. Deleted everything, reinstalled and started a new game with new Sims. I don't really feel like playing City Living this week, but I want to see if this resolves the problems I've been having. I will admit that when I sent my Sim on a camping trip prior to this his friend actually stayed the whole trip, rather than returning home the first night as had every previous time. But, even if this resolves my situation, EA still left me hanging as far as support goes.
