How to rename URL link in Sims 4

Can someone please tell me how to rename a url link in the Forums, I am clueless and can't find anything on it. Thanks

I am not sure what you are exactly trying to do. Are you trying to get a shortened link to a forum post or something?

yes...I am writing a story and I want the links to read Chapter One, Chapter Two etc. rather than the entire link

Oh, that's easy. Just type a word like, oh, here we have:

Chapter 1

Now highlight the word(s) you just wrote that you want to redirect to your link, click on the button to the right of the smiley face button on the bar on top of the box where you write your text, type in your link to the box that comes up after pressing said button and then press enter, now chapter 1 will show up like this:

Chapter 1

But obvi it will go to your link, not the sims.com (unless you put that as your link)

ORRR

You can type

(url="PutYourUrlHere.MadeUpWebsite")Put your word here(/url)

But use square brackets instead of circular ones [].

If you don't want to type you can also use one of the buttons just above the textfield. The button on the right of the smiley button will put in this:

[url="http://"][/url]
