Sounds good @Cbear13; I know the feedback really helped me be much more careful. Also I think seeing everyone else's builds I've learned tons of new tricks and creative ideas. So I'd continue to participate in either judged or unjudged challenges.
I'm waiting for the new pack to come out before I finish my Monument build just in case there is some cool items in there. And I did assume your next challenge(s) would be related to the theme of the next pack, so I'm already thinking about interesting things to build based on the vacation/jungle theme.
@Cbear13 --- I would participate in judged and unjudged QC comps! They're really fun, and I learn a lot from your feedback when they're judged ! You work really hard to make all your threads very enjoyable ! Thank you so much for that !
@lsnishi haha yes I have a few ideas for the new challenges with the packs but cant do them all so I actually havent created the challenges yet because I cant decide which one to do haha.
@coolsim9999999 I do try coolsim and have no intention of stopping the threads I just love seeing what everyone creates so even when I struggle for time to judge id still like to keep them going even for fun.
@Cbear13 I'd love to include the item names in my notes, but I don't play the game in english. I know your pain though, it's really hard for me to find the items you mention in the critique section, because their names are different in my game I'll try to be more precise next time, maybe with pictures, I admit I was really rushed when I was writing the entry form.
@Cbear13 Oh look at that, haha! I was admittedly tired at staring at that restaurant for quite a few days, so I had a hunch there were some things I missed yes Wooops!
As for having unjudged contests, I will be doing them if inspired to do so, whether or not they are judged I do really appreciate the judging, as you can see here I still have little things here and there to work on, but I am definetly going to be here to do them regardless.
So you just take a break from judging, that's no problem at all!
Congrats to @leashahampton and @LadyAlexiel and @lisalittlesimmer and @liel88 and @CaramelLibra29 and @coolsim9999999 and @HEW310 and espcially @Cbear13 for taking the time to hold and judge these challenges! I'd like to think that if I hadn't had to rush to get off the computer and pack for a trip, I'd have picked up on some of my placement problems. @Cbear13 I can completely understand if you need to take a break from all this judging, or even just stop. It's got to be ridiculously time consuming. I build because I like to so I'd definitely still participate.
@Cbear13 Thank you for the time and effort you put into these challenges, like others have said have a rest from judging if you need it ((hugs))
I will build when inspired and I am happy to be judged or not judged and your challenges always inspire so Im going nowhere x
that said if my laptop carries on denying me sim time I may be found sobbing under my duvet!
Thank you Soooo much for your lovely feedback on my resturant, and the shiny stars!
I knew I/you wanted less bare space but I constantly struggle between high end/budget meaning quite often I will leave an area bare as Ive got nothing else I want to swap out to gain simoleons lol, next time I will get the balence right!
Ive started the next challenge but once again my laptop is really playing up, so I may not get it entered.
I updated my graphics driver, but I think its a windows 10 issue . . .
Congratulations on winning the experienced level @leashahampton and on placing @lisalittlesimmer and @Ainsleyf ! Great romantic restaurants for Valentine's Day !
Wow how exciting! I had tough competition too! You all made awesome Restaurants! Thank you for the lovely feedback @Cbear13 , Thank you for the congrats guys Hopefully will find time to get some more building done soon!
Sitting on a bench looking at the water and thinking about who he will meet in his newly-founded town and the home he will start building tomorrow. He's very excited to reveal the National Park with the theme a wave's crest, the water and surfing.
It is great reading the background details of Brian Crest @coolsim9999999 It is nice that he has named the town using his surname. I hope that he will continue to enjoy surfing there as well as visiting his old surfing locations.
I will look forward to seeing your National Park build with the wave crest, water and surfing theme !

Sorry for the newbie question, but how do you take a pic of a sim from CAS? I know how to take a pic of the sim in game, but for the sim challenge, I'd like to take a pic of the sim with a white background like in the thumbnail in the gallery.
@Ainsleyf, I was wondering what you were making for this challenge since you always come up with something amazingly creative. And then I see you've done a creepy monument build for Forgotten Hollow...and I'm blown away! I love it!

Back Story
Brian Crest, the famous explorer and founder of New Crest, found the uninhabited piece of land with coastal views while on his speedboat. He's a surfer, and he needed to find a new surfing location. IHe stopped in New Crest because of its incredible water views and to rest from his surfing search. His decided to stay and found the town --- he can visit his old surfing spots in his speedboat. He called it New Crest, using his last name as part of the new town.
