@Cbear13 - 2 quick questions for the QC 59 Sim Challenge- 1. In the Description it states that the explorer sim wear comfortable outfits- Does that mean for Formal & Party as well?

2. Though this is a single sim challenge, will I be disqualified by adding other members or towns folk to the household?

I know I'm not Cbear, but for my sim I gave her a dress that was still within the formal category, but that I thought was rather comfortable and I didn't give her any huge heels or any of that.

Zula Falls is a very nice explorer sim! @hew1010

It is great that she discovered and named Granite Falls!It is a nice touch that her surname is a part of the name of her newly discovered world. Her traits and aspiration suit her and her clothing is great for going on hikes in.

Hi guys
sorry been without internet last two days grrr but its up and working again well sort of having a shocking wind storm tonight so it keeps dropping out but will be back at the judging tomorrow

As for the 2nd question I prefer just the sims required for judging in the gallery link you can upload them again with more sims if you like

Awww @Cbear13, no internet, that's a pain! Last night we had a terrible thunderstorm with lots of rain. The electricity flickered off twice (thank goodness for the APC surge protector and battery) while I was building my monument lot, so I finally closed down the computer in case we had a total outage. I remember thinking, "what will I do for entertainment without the internet or electricity?" I was wondering if I had to read by flashlight...

lol @Laebeth Im doing fine lol must seem im having so much bad luck because I only mention the bad here. I was super busy over the weekend anyway so it wasnt to bad that my net was out.

@lsnishi oh thats what Id be doing is reading but probably by candle light

@Cbear13, I have a question about the sim part of the monument challenge, since I rarely enter these, I'm unsure about the hair change requirements. Do hat changes over the same hairstyle for the different outfits count as hairstyle changes?

@lsnishi at least 3 hairstyle changes per sim even if you use hats male sure they have 3 changes.
Also make sure fringe lengths and hair lengths dont drastically change through their hairstyle changes

Founder Backstory:Many decades ago, under the guide of the North Star and Crescent Moon, she ran away from bondage and never looked back. She stopped running when she discovered uninhabited land and named it NEWCREST. From then on, she changed her name to Atlas and Newcrest was known as a NEW town for ALL sims to have a NEW start. I may have to do some just for fun challenges for this comp for a while as I seem to be getting less and less time to get all the judging done, Id like to get everyones thoughts on the just for fun and if you would all still be interested in joining in or if your mainly interested in the judging side of things?

The sepia colour of the pictures and the old wooden picture frames look great! It is a nice touch that the picture are on a cement brick wall. It is great that her name is Atlas, which suits well the theme. It is nice that she named the world Newcrest as many sims will enjoy starting a new stage of their lives there. Her children are cute!

@cbear13, I build for fun so although it's really helpful to get feedback and thrilling to win a comp, I'd be very happy with just for fun challenges. I think it might be easier to be MORE creative on a just for fun challenge because I wouldn't be as worried about items clipping into each other and how things would look in judging.

@lsnishi I enjoy seeing the improvement from everyone with such things like placement so I don't plan for it to be just for fun forever, I will see how I can work it in to maybe doing a judging challenge every so often for now.
I plan to keep the room challenges to judging for now as they are not so time consuming to judge
