Moon Logic - A SimLit (Updated 2/22)

So, I decided to start up a second SimLit. I wanted it to be very different than my TIOL, and after much deliberation, decided upon writing something based off of some characters from a short story I wrote years ago. This story centers around three housemates and their daily lives of navigating the bizarre world they live in. Be prepared to laugh (hopefully), cry (probably not), and question my sanity (definitely) as you read Moon Logic.

Omg I had no clue you had just released Moon Logic. Just read the first chapter. What fun! I love this main character already and that opening! It kinda reminds me of something Tolkien might write if he wrote scifi. The way you stop and appraise the mundane things, we don't usually think about that deeply, like whether it's morning or not. However, it is very Terry Pratchett with the style of humour you add in, particularly with the personification of the windows, like they are Meteorologists .. Awesome start!!!

Awesome! I'm known for my impeccable timing.

(That's a complete and utter lie. I'm terrible at timing, and things related to time in general- I've never had a very good perception of it.)

Aaah! Thanks @chalicen and @simscognito ! I had a blast writing him.

The funny thing is, back when I first came up with these characters years ago, I don't think Porridge was my favorite to write about. (And by the time I rediscovered those short stories, I'd forgotten that Doll was even a part of them!

) I guess that just goes to show how much your tastes as a writer can change over the years!

Oh good! A story I can get in on the ground floor of, that doesn't already have fifty gazillion chapters for me to catch up on! (Not that that stops me from attempting to binge all of them anyhow.)

I love it so far! Kind of a trippy little setting that I have all kinds of questions about and am looking forward to discovering as the story goes on. Moon Logic seems like the perfect title for it. And I love the characters! I'm going to have to agree with others, I think Porridge is my favorite so far.

Thanks for reading! I understand what you mean about trying to binge longer stories. (I do it too, but some are just too intimidating!

) And hooray, another Porridge fan! I shouldn't pick favorites (because that's like having a favorite child

Hehe I understand what you're talking about @AvieLeague it can be daunting starting on a story with soooo many chapters, especially if you're like me and a slow reader (although I'm ironically an English major

).

I agree, it is a great title. @IchigoUsagi 's rather gifted with titles. Another story I'm reading of hers is called The Illusion of Light. What an awesome name! XD I love it.

I really enjoyed arranging all the clocks. I think that Cabinet owns one of just about every clock in-game (she even has one of the big outdoor ones on her balcony).

@simscognito @Shadami There are definitely a lot of questions raised in this chapter! Hopefully I'll remember to address them all later down the line. Feel free to remind me if it seems like I've forgotten!

@flutegirl_132 Thank you so much for reading! I'm having a lot of fun writing this story as it's much less grounded in reality than anything else I've written. It's really enjoyable to think up bizarre "rules" for the things that happen- like entering being more stable than exiting.
