These are two of my simself's recent paintings. The eyes in the first painting creeped me out so I sold it but the other will probably hang in the kids' room.
Oh! I love the little elephant painting! That little girl painting reminds me of the paintings with the big eyed kids. They were really popular in the 70's. Actually 60's and 70's.
@jaletu2005 I remember paintings of big eyed kids way back when! I was born in the 50s so I am surprised I never associated the painting with that until you mentioned it. I also love the elephant pic
After lurking through this thread for some time (and downloading that same painting replacement mod as a result), I’ve decided to contribute. Hope you enjoy :>
@Mikezumi The first one was by my sister's Sim who had Artistic, Good Sense of Humour, Equestrian, Genius and Athletic. Maybe that painting is tied to the Artistic trait?
The last one was by my Sim who has Genius, Socially Awkward, Bookworm, Handy, Artistic and Perfectionist. I'm not very sure which one that painting might be tied to, though. Bookworm, maybe? Since she looks like a comic book character?
@TinySpaceFox Thanks for that info. After having looked at your paintings again, I think I might have had the first one a long time ago but I definitely haven't had the last one.
A couple more of my paintings that my SS painted...
This one is of a house that's right down the road from where she lives. I ended keep this one but painted another one just like it to sell. it went for over $1232...
And here is this one. It's in her inventory at the moment as I'm not sure if I want to sell that one yet or not. Hopefully I can get her to paint another one like that so that she can sell it...
My artist Sim is a really prolific painter. While I was away playing with another household, he worked on a bunch of small paintings. Here’s a few of them (some were duplicates haha).
I love all these paintings! I haven't added any mods to mine yet but my sim has been painting non stop and some of them aren't bad so I had her do a still life of her toddler playing with her IF doll.... and after this I'm thinking of getting some mod or something.....
I mean, I can see it cause I know what it is but I thought it would be a little more realistic lol
While my SS and her bf was in Roaring Heights on a vacation, I had her do some paintings while there...
The sun raising up over the water...
She got her bf in the sailboat...
This one is suppose to be the abandoned warehouse where the evil people hang out at. Sorry it's so dark.
A beach scene...
Not a painting picture but I will still share it here...
It's my SS drawing a picture of her bf in the nude and now she's showing him the finished drawing of him...
This is what she drew of him. She must had saw something different when she was looking at him...lol
A painting with geese flying...
A mountain picture with what I think is a red sky or a red sunset...
A painting of the house on the hill in Riverview...
This is really pretty! I always have issues with capturing subjects for my Sims to paint, they take the picture and when they start painting it looks too dark. Must be the lighting...

@TinySpaceFox, Thank you... Could be as I have done some when it was starting to get dark outside that didn't turn at good because of the darkness, so I think timing is a factor in trying to get good pictures of the scenery around you...
The first couple of still-life pictures that I did didn't really turn out all that great is they were spotty with black dots in the painting. So I found this mod over at the Mod the Sims website that removes them and making the paintings much more clearer... http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=425878
This is a picture of my little birdie that I had put in CAP tool and then added the picture to my game and had my SS snap a picture of her so that she can hang this picture on her wall. I then decided to have my SS do a still-life painting of the same picture but it didn't really turn out all that nice. This was done before I had added the mod into my game, so I really need to try to have my SS do another painting of the birdie to see how it turns out this time...
