Toddler being neglected

My Sims are neglecting their toddler daughter. She is desperately tired, but they won't put her to bed, every time she puts herself to bed they get her up and put her in her highchair. She is collapsing with exhaustion, and still they stick her in the highchair and give her food and drink.
They are deliriously happy all the time, even though I have got rid of all laundry items, but their clothes are still affecting their behaviour. Please fix this glitch in the programme. I have to keep saving the game, because my Sims are dropping like flies and I have to reload and get them in front of a mirror before they die again.
Repairing the game before each play isn't working.

High chairs have been causing issues. It may be best to remove them from your game. You can put plates of food on the table instead,and toddlers. willl come and take the plate.

With your second issue try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder

Did you copy back all folders mentioned from the previous Sims 4 game folder? You probably forgot the "saves" folder.

You need to copy back the “ saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder that is found in Documents-Electronic Arts. -sims 4 folder. Remove the new folders, and replace them with the old folders that have the same name.
