Hello @zero35 You have the required posts but need some more points
You receive a point each time another simmer presses like or awesome or insightful on a post that you have posted. Keep posting on the different threads and sections of the forums and you will soon get the points/posts. The off topic section is a good place to post. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/categories/off-topic-chat
You will soon get the required points and posts if you also post about your simming experiences on threads that you are interested in the thread topics.
Just so people know, Tinypic is affiliated with Photobucket (which is the image host that is telling people to "pay up") so unfortunately, Tinypic is out as far as image-hosting. Flickr and Imgur are the two best ones to use. I use Google Photo and put my images on a blog from which I post here.

I'd started out with Tinypic because it seemed like the easiest one to use, which was a big mistake on my part. Ad glitches, especially that Smokey the Bear ad has made it unusable at times. Imgur has proven to be much better, and just as easy, if not easier to use. So I would definitely advise new users to steer clear of Tinypic altogether.
imgbb is also a really good website and simple to use if anyone's having problems with other ones. You can do gifs, pngs, jpgs pretty much everything. Never had a problem with it and it's super fast. You just have to sign up first.
click upload
upload a file or use a url online
click bbcode, copy the link and paste it into the "leave a comment" box
You can even make linked images that take whoever clicks it to a certain website if u want and sorry this sounded like an advertisement LOL
By posts you mean discussions? Is there any other way to post a picture WITHOUT those image websites? I don't fancy downloading those sites. To be honest, I'm not good with Internet stuff just WORD and the technical way of how a computer works!

Hello
I am sorry but you do need to upload your pictures to an image hosting site first, before linking the picture file address to the forums post. You are unable to directly upload to the forums from your computer.
@rosemow I just tried to sign up to the websites and they said my email was invalid! I've verified my email already and updated it but it won't let me, so I guess I won't be able to post pictures.

Hello @Sephardic
You don’t need to sign up and have an account with Imgur to post pictures. You can just upload pictures when you want to, without registering.
To post pictures on the forums, upload your pictures to the photo sharing site such as imgur or tinypic . Right click the picture on the photo sharing website and click copy , or copy the image code web address . The picture button is the button with the little file picture on it above the forum post. Press the picture button above your post , paste the image address into the box, then press the enter button. Then the image address will be in your post ready to appear when posting your post. Make sure that the file ends in .jpg, .png or.gif
Another way to post the picture is to type [img][/img] in the post and put the image code web address from the picture sharing site in between them.
Thank you so much for this! I've just uploaded my first post with images, and I'm super excited to share my sims family with everyone! Very coherent and easy to understand, especially for a computer n00b like myself.
I'm a member here and I can no longer post pics from my pc. I have to use my phone to do so. Photobucket isn't the only issue either. I can no longer copy a picture from anywhere and paste here. Anyone have any suggestions? Tired of using my phone to post pics. I want to use my pc like I use to could do. Is the issue with Windows 10?

Hello
I am sorry that you are having issues. Try using a different browser on your pc, and see if that helps.
Try using Imgur to post your pictures, as that photo hosting site seems to work good on these forums,
Try clearing the Browser cache files and temporary files, and see if that may help.

Yayy! I used Tinypic instead of flickr or imgur since those were a bit confusing! I definitely recommend Tinypic! Thanks!
It is great that you were able to post the picture!

The image file needs to end in jpg, png or gif. Perhaps the picture file address that you are using doesn’t end in that?
