The one that makes everything freeze if someone is trying to talk to someone while they are sitting down at the table (usually doing homework). When you have a houseful it's frustrating trying to find that one task that is causing it.
I don't know if this glitch has a name, but the glitch where 3rd speed freezes all interactions or tasks, but the time keeps going. It once took my sim 2 in-game hours to use the toilet.. doesn't seem normal to me.
Actions not cancelling or queueing correctly. I play big households a lot and am also a bit of a control freak so it drives me crazy when I either cancel or queue an action only to go back 10 sim-minutes later to find they're doing the opposite of what I wanted.
I think this is also my top priority. It beats time lag by a hair.
Hmm, hadn't thought of that one. I'm inclined to agree. Problem is, some actions won't actually end until an animation finishes, which can delay it a few precious seconds and if it delays too long, the queued up action might cancel out. Or autonomy might try to queue up another action and overlap it.
I love the animations in this game, but the fact that a lot of them need to end a specific cycle before the action will cease can be very frustrating. I don't know how they would get around it though. Maybe if they somehow tweaked animation exit conditions so that they animate faster on cancel, getting out as expediently as possible without visual glitches. Dunno how involved something like that would be to do, with how many animations there are. Probably a lot of tedious edits, if it's even possible with the way their code is structured.
Hello
I am sorry that you are having this issue, as are other simmer with the detective career. The eventual suspect sometimes doesn't fit the clues that your sim is given. You need to try arresting other sims that don't fit the clues, To prevent a drop in work performance caused by arresting the wrong suspect, it can help to save the game before trying to arrest the sim, and then reloading the game if the sim is not the correct suspect.
Also some simmers have found that having your sims buy the observant trait can help. The trait given in the clues is usually correct, so discovering who the suspect is can be narrowed down before arresting.
Hmm so many. I don't have the canceled actions thing except when my active seem quit everything to play basketball. So I'd have to say the 8am bug too (ok, alt tabbing seems to fix it, but it's still annoying).

I did, but it says 'solved' so I'm not very hopeful, lol. Plus the last post was months ago.

It is helpful to the Developers that you posted feedback on the thread, that the issue is still occurring in your game. The upcoming game patch may help to fix this issue in your game.
For me its gotta be that annoying time distortion that happens on 3 speed, at first I was under the impression that TS4 was more demanding then I thought and that my PC was simply underpowered for the game (my specs in signature) but as a lot of people have it I doubt thats my issue, or my pc is too underpowered to "brute force" its way through some of this games oddities.
PC Specs:
Asus ROG GL753VE-BS71 17.3 inch
Intel Core i7 7700HQ 2.8-3.8GHz
16GB DDR4 RAM
128GB SSD
1TB 7200RPM HDD
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1050 TI 4GB

Hello
I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue, Try seeing if lowering your graphics settings may help. Also reducing the number of items in your sims personal and household inventories may help.
There are also issues with ultra speed when living in an apartment in San Myshuno ,so you could see if having your sims live in another world may help.
Hello
If your sims live in San Myshuno, try having them move to another world and see if that helps.
Make sure that graphics drivers are uptodate.
Try lowering the graphics settings and see if that helps. Lowering the in game screen resolution may also help. Try closing any open windows on your desktop when playing the game.
My Sim gets disgusted when eating excellent food. I know this is a YEARS OLD BUG that apparently has not been fixed......
Hello @Yolee
Try having your sim cook a fruit cake using the gourmet skill ( not the baking skill ) Then have your sim eat a slice of it. They may not like it, but from then on the issue should be fixed.
WOW, OK that actually seemed to work. I made the fruitcake via the gourmet skill and made her eat a slice *(she hated it). After that I made her eat some excellent food and she praised it profusely! Weird but it worked. Thanks @rosemow

The City Living festivals spawning on top of each other. This is infuriating that they've allowed this. I know there is a "workaround" but it's too much inconvenience so there's no point.

I would like that weird time lag gone. If my sims are frozen, I’d rather time not keep going
