Zumi woke with a craving for pancakes. I was hoping she wouldn't wake with a craving because she hasn't been doing much cooking in this save although she is a natural cook. I would have accommodated a craving for something else but this was perfect since they had pancakes in the fridge
I always pause when I look around to see what everyone is up to. I have noticed the animations are sometimes a little whacky when this happens, like water up in the air when sims are watering plants. It seems that the weeding animation doesn't like being paused either

Sam was recycling the paper and Zumi disposing of a dead plant. They stopped and flirted at the trash can
When Dean finished gardening he came straight to Zumi for woohoo! Sam wandered off with a book.
When I saw Zumi and Dean heading for the treehouse, I sent Sam to the swamp to catch a bug as per his waking wish.
The inevitable wishes to read pregnancy books were rolled so I sent them to the Library.
While reading, Zumi rolled a wish to spend §400 at the spa. You can see her running to the spa across the street while the boys chatted.
While chatting, Sam rolled a wish to mind meld with Dean. Since Zumi wasn't there, I let him have his wish.
I sent the boys home and of course they exercised.
When Zumi got home from the spa she flirted a little with Dean but when Sam joined them they all joked and chatted together.
When Zumi went off to paint the boys continued without her
Since Zumi was busy, I had the boys spar because I figured they might like an excuse to hit each other
The boys got home late because of Scouts and did their homework together.
Zumi had no cravings so they finished off the fish and chips.
I thought I saw a little concern in Dean's eyes when checking out his brother's biceps

Gryph had come home from school with a wish to go for a joyride but didn't get a chance until after dinner. Lycan had a wish to become good friends with a girl at school so I had him call her to get the friendship level up a little.

Dean and Lycan soon joined in. Since the back deck is so dark, I added some buydebug wall lighting for the next couple pics

Hello - just a quick drop in to say hello. Puppies are getting restless as it's almost 4pm and they want a walk.
Anyone who's been following the Isla Paradiso Bunch videos may recall me talking about them not being able to do the final tomb in France. Well, I tried a few times but, although they got the adventure it kept vanishing. This is a known bug.
In my current game I have had Old Gertie and the others doing various tombs. And - Gertie just completed that tomb that kept dropping out for Craig and the Isla Paradiso Bunch. I recorded a video of her doing it so, if I still can't get Craig, or one of the others to do that tomb I might show Gertie doing it so you will at least see it being done.
I have only done it once before and that was years ago so the whole thing was a surprise to me and fun - although it took a long time to get through.
I need to go out now with the puppies. So Happy Simming.
@king_of_simcity7 the work around is to continue travelling between France and Egypt until you die of old age or give up or maybe get lucky and get it to stick at some stage this century.
I tried a few times including getting help with master controller. I decided I'd rather introduce more variety to my game than spend the rest of my playing life doing that sequence over and over and over and over again.
Life's too short to waste it on working around a bug in a game.

Sam had a wish to practice MA, probably stemming from his loss to Dean the previous day
Zumi did the gardening. Because there are only a few plants and she has mastered the skill, it took her next to no time.
Dean woke with a wish to find some seeds. There's a spawner across the street.
When Zumi finished gardening, she flirted with Sam
When Dean got back from collecting a seed he joined in to tell a funny story.
Sam took out a book and wandered off. Zumi looks a little frustrated
She then "Got to know" Dean. I'm pretty sure she knows everything there is to know by now
Dean followed up with a wink
The boys had a field trip to the Science Facility. Max Racket was in charge.
I sent Zumi and the boys to The Red Rendezvous because I could see there were several sims there.
Zumi rolled a wish to learn the fishing skill and Sam one to learn the painting skill so I sent them home.
While Zumi fished and Sam painted, Dean worked on his wish to master the guitar skill
When Zumi had got a few fishing wishes under her belt she went straight to Sam for woohoo. Dean appeared in her queue but he was to slow and went off to break boards.
The boys got home early because of the field trip.
After woohooing, Zumi went to play computer games and was there when the boys got home from school. Gryph rolled a wish to chat with her on seeing her.

Because Cerberus was born so late, I will age him up in the morning. Zumi had to get up in the middle of the night to feed and comfort him. One of the reasons I don't do babies is because toddlers will sleep all night if kept on a tight schedule.

More random horses on the lot! Very strange, but one of them is a UNICORN. I've never seen one in-game before! The unicorn ate some of Ivy's plants, which was less than stellar, but oh well.
Batgirl watched him a long time, built up a friendship...
...and he agreed to come live with them! I really wasn't intending to adopt pets yet but since the unicorn is so rare I caved.
Beast Boy also got a call that a friend's dog had puppies and asked if he'd like to adopt one.

I noticed I hadn't managed to record the start of the adventure so I sent her back there to record it. All went well until she got the emerald and put it into the hole in the wall. At this point a keystone should have appeared. Without the keystone the adventure can go no further. Well, she put the correct emerald into the correct hole in the wall but no keystone appeared. So I closed without saving. I had that bit recorded from the first time she went through the adventure this afternoon. If you are doing this adventure I'd strongly advise saving with a new name after each successful step (there are a lot of steps). That way, you can go back to an earlier save if you need to to try to get it to work thereby saving yourself the need to start a fresh game ... or go back too far in the adventure.
EDIT: I'm talking about Gertie who I sent into the big tombs at the Nectary in France.

I think Sims 3 should've had a least favorite meal feature. It would've been a little funny to see sims groan over something they don't like, such as sim kids not liking veggies and complaining when they see broccoli on their plate.

@polrbear I usually just have whoever is up first take care of the babies and I try to only have one sim do everything because having two or more causes traffic jams, lol. Alicia wasn't having the best day. I'm beginning to not mind that Cadence and Clover are clones of their father. Once I played them for a little while, I discovered that they were each their own person.
Lol, changing their clothes usually gets rid of the pie face, but I think it's too funny. Devon and Alicia are always standing in the smallest rooms flirting. They are. If your sim is single, they don't want anything to do with them, but the very second your sim becomes involved with someone, everyone and their grandma calls for a date. I plan on having Autumn and Star go to college together. So when it comes time for Autumn to grow up, I'll invite Star over and have her age up too if she isn't already, add her to the household and have them both enroll.
Very nice update and nice diving pictures. The video game shots are too cute and it's funny how mad sims get when they start losing. Wow, those girls look like they'd rather be doing anything else except cooking, lol. Gorgeous sitting area!
@Mikezumi Nice update! I feel sorry for the boys for having Max Racket as a chaperone. He's probably the meanest out of all the Rackets and always causes problems in my game. Even my most mean-spirited CAS sims were nicer than him.

@Karritz Ah yes, that tomb. It's definitely one of the most complicated and so many secret rooms, but it's also one of the most beautiful and there are so many places to rest and revitalize. Too bad it's buggy and can cause some problems.
@Nikkei_Simmer I enjoyed the jag update. Phil and Mac are fun to watch. I know a real life couple like that and often wonder with all the snipping going on....how did they decide to be together. They do love each other, I think the snipping is habit now. It doesn't look from your pictures that it is sexual tension causing the fighting with Phil and Mac though, more like extreme dislike. I love how Kimber and Tosh are so in to each other right now. That part of a relationship is so much fun and it is a part we should all try to keep alive.

I volunteered to work this weekend though, need money! ) Giggled at the boys making faces at each other and then they start sparring. Sam does have some awesome muscles! Old Max doesn't look too thrilled to be doing the field trip! Congrats on the new baby boy! Cerberus! I've seen that name alot in the rpg games I used to play. I use that MH baby mat to help with the babies when my sims are busy. But, I keep the babies as babies for 7-14 days, depending on how long the life spans are. I've actually turned aging off in the Ballan game since so much was going on at one time and I didn't want them aging too fast.

@Karritz What is the name of the adventure you are talking about that is buggy? There are several of them that have glitches and bugs.
@bekkasan the adventure giving me issues starts in France. It is called To Egypt. Before leaving to go to Egypt the Sim has to catch 5 chemberoux beetles.
On arrival they have a series of things to do. Seek Assistance. Deliver beetles. And a few others.
If it is bugged on arrival in Egypt with the beetles there will be no adventure.
If you go back to France and get the adventure again you might eventually get to do the adventure.
I tried several times with the Isla Paradiso Bunch but no matter what I did the adventure always vanished on arrival in Egypt.
Then it can drop out mid adventure. Like it did for me tonight. There are two tombs to complete. I did the first one but the key for the second tomb failed to appear. This made it impossible to do the second tomb.
@karritz My favorite part of France is they turn that one house into the tomb,it is so annoying how little you can do at once.You want to walk through the house but have to unlock this door and this door etc.But cool cause has a bedroom to sleep in during the adventure.House tomb
@polrbear , I think I've only seen Ciel smile 5-6 times in the entire series, though mind you we still have half of season 2 to watch, I keep putting it off because I know what happens at the end. He did smile ( in Book of Circus but that was forced by Joker and friends)...Ciel to me has never been sweet and innocent after he summons Sebastian, he has been through too much, he is bitter, grumpy, and abusive to Sebastian. He also is technically a murderer (the end of Book of Circus). I don't see him as a baby at all, he is too cold blooded after his parents died (were killed) and he was kidnapped, not that I blame him mind you. I think my version is at this point only Ciel in name, though he does have the grumpy, and loner traits. My version is more of a Fan Fiction, aged up, mellow, non-anime/manga version, he would have hot headed and possibly snob if he was more true to the anime/manga, he would also be more abusive to Sebastian.

@king_of_simcity7 , It's Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) a Japanese manga/anime series, 24 manga books and 2 anime seasons plus 2 extra season specials. My 15 year old son Matthew and I love it and my non Black Butler watching/reading son (23 years old) was "forced" to watch The Book of Murder yesterday and loved it, it's a sort of stand alone but is very very well done. It's not everyone's cup of tea but the fans of the anime/manga are generally rabid! . My son and I are also heavily into Death Note (a more male friendly manga/anime), even my eldest likes that one.

I actually have a rule to never play The Sims on a work night. Going to work on four hours sleep is not a good thing!

Sam had a wish to practice MA, probably stemming from his loss to Dean the previous day
Zumi did the gardening. Because there are only a few plants and she has mastered the skill, it took her next to no time.
Dean woke with a wish to find some seeds. There's a spawner across the street.
When Zumi finished gardening, she flirted with Sam
When Dean got back from collecting a seed he joined in to tell a funny story.
Sam took out a book and wandered off. Zumi looks a little frustrated
She then "Got to know" Dean. I'm pretty sure she knows everything there is to know by now
Dean followed up with a wink
The boys had a field trip to the Science Facility. Max Racket was in charge.
I sent Zumi and the boys to The Red Rendezvous because I could see there were several sims there.

Day 25 - Part 2
Zumi rolled a wish to learn the fishing skill and Sam one to learn the painting skill so I sent them home.
While Zumi fished and Sam painted, Dean worked on his wish to master the guitar skill
When Zumi had got a few fishing wishes under her belt she went straight to Sam for woohoo. Dean appeared in her queue but he was to slow and went off to break boards.
The boys got home early because of the field trip.
After woohooing, Zumi went to play computer games and was there when the boys got home from school. Gryph rolled a wish to chat with her on seeing her.
Zumi had a wish to play a game with Lycan.
She looked so cute I had to zoom in

Zumi was craving key lime pie so they all ate it
While Gryph was chatting with Zumi she told him to feel her belly. I thought only FO sims did this.
The sound of children screaming when a sim goes into labor is piercing!

I sent Dean in to snuggle his new son
Because Cerberus was born so late, I will age him up in the morning. Zumi had to get up in the middle of the night to feed and comfort him. One of the reasons I don't do babies is because toddlers will sleep all night if kept on a tight schedule.

Today's biggest highlights: the family adopted a unicorn and a puppy! Image-heavy because I got very excited about that lol.
Ivy tending her garden. There are a couple things up to "outstanding" quality!
Lena also got a promotion to CEO today, which means she's fulfilled her LTW!
Lena got this opportunity at work. Naturally, she chose to give her employees a raise. She's a caring boss.
More random horses on the lot! Very strange, but one of them is a UNICORN. I've never seen one in-game before! The unicorn ate some of Ivy's plants, which was less than stellar, but oh well.
Batgirl watched him a long time, built up a friendship...
...and he agreed to come live with them! I really wasn't intending to adopt pets yet but since the unicorn is so rare I caved.
Beast Boy also got a call that a friend's dog had puppies and asked if he'd like to adopt one.

I noticed I hadn't managed to record the start of the adventure so I sent her back there to record it. All went well until she got the emerald and put it into the hole in the wall. At this point a keystone should have appeared. Without the keystone the adventure can go no further. Well, she put the correct emerald into the correct hole in the wall but no keystone appeared. So I closed without saving. I had that bit recorded from the first time she went through the adventure this afternoon. If you are doing this adventure I'd strongly advise saving with a new name after each successful step (there are a lot of steps). That way, you can go back to an earlier save if you need to to try to get it to work thereby saving yourself the need to start a fresh game ... or go back too far in the adventure.
EDIT: I'm talking about Gertie who I sent into the big tombs at the Nectary in France.

I think Sims 3 should've had a least favorite meal feature. It would've been a little funny to see sims groan over something they don't like, such as sim kids not liking veggies and complaining when they see broccoli on their plate.
Seems Zumi watches the stars with Sam more than she does with Dean.
That buydebug lighting is amazing isn't it? I use it in all my houses.
Dean really loves Zumi and I think it's really sweet.
@polrbear I usually just have whoever is up first take care of the babies and I try to only have one sim do everything because having two or more causes traffic jams, lol. Alicia wasn't having the best day. I'm beginning to not mind that Cadence and Clover are clones of their father. Once I played them for a little while, I discovered that they were each their own person.
Lol, changing their clothes usually gets rid of the pie face, but I think it's too funny.

@Karritz Ah yes, that tomb. It's definitely one of the most complicated and so many secret rooms, but it's also one of the most beautiful and there are so many places to rest and revitalize. Too bad it's buggy and can cause some problems.

@Karritz What is the name of the adventure you are talking about that is buggy? There are several of them that have glitches and bugs.

On arrival they have a series of things to do. Seek Assistance. Deliver beetles. And a few others.
If it is bugged on arrival in Egypt with the beetles there will be no adventure.
If you go back to France and get the adventure again you might eventually get to do the adventure.
I tried several times with the Isla Paradiso Bunch but no matter what I did the adventure always vanished on arrival in Egypt.
Then it can drop out mid adventure. Like it did for me tonight. There are two tombs to complete. I did the first one but the key for the second tomb failed to appear. This made it impossible to do the second tomb.
