THE PREQUEL: When you boot up Sunset Valley for the first time, Cornelia is married to Gunther Goth and has a son named Mortimer. Her sister, Agnes Crumplebottom, is a recent widow whose husband died an untimely death on their honeymoon. But what was the sisters' early life like? Where are they from originally? And how did they end up with their prospective spouses? Watch here to find out.

It's fun doing a prequel and telling their story from youth. I envisioned Connor as a child and Jared is his older brother so therefore, Jared became a teenager. The boundaries of 'teen, YA and adult' are a little blurred to me so I used creative license.

Your story is wonderful so far! Agnes as a child is the most adorable sim ever. I like your choice of music and your use of weather - the rain really enhanced the scenes of the girls' parents leaving, and of the car drive to Sunset Valley.

To be truthful, I have never liked Cornelia or Agnes but I must say I feel completely different now! Well at least for them in your story. I was sad when I saw the girls at their parents' funeral and so proud of Cornelia when she cleaned up the cabin. Her determination to look after her sister and give a good life was moving. And then when I saw young Gunther I was cheering! Love it so far

Loved it! It's a pity that Cornelia didn't get any of the jobs but I can see she is willing to do anything for her sister's wellbeing

She's a determined and resourceful young lady with strong family values. An excellent role model for her sister.
I am curious to see how she comes to be with Gunther and what becomes of Lolita.

Wow, great video! I loved it when Agnes got up there and joined with that high school girl. The moves were awesome and so was the music!
I assume that was her father who walked in at the end, wonder if anything will come of him and Cornelia in the future?

Oh, Agnes is so cute in your videos, but I still don't like her in the game, all grown up, LOL. I think its her hair cut

@FairyGodMother That was teen Gunther who walked in! Okay, I'm making these videos assuming that everyone knows the 'back story' of Sunset Valley but maybe I need to explain more for those who don't play the townies?

SPOILERS ahead for my prequel and for those who haven't played Sunset Valley townies!

Lolita Goth is a bit of a mystery. Her last name is Goth; however, she is not related to any of the Goths in town. So it has been theorized that she is Gunther's first wife or maybe a distant relative. She died very young. When I was preparing Sunset Valley for my prequel and got all the Goths resurrected, I played the Goth family for awhile. I noticed that Lolita and Gunther seem to be drawn to each other and both get the 'romance' moodlet. So I'm working off the theory that she was his first wife.

ETA: And yes, that hair on Agnes is truly awful. But a new hair and a little makeup and she's really gorgeous!

I don't know if anyone else has noticed and maybe it's my imagination, but Agnes seems to have 'tear stains' painted into her skin around the eyes and cheeks. It is very faint but it is there. Whatever EA person made her did an excellent job.
