Good. I don't want my teenagers dying. (Mood swings never really happen for me anyway.)
Probably, my teen had a mood swing with enraged moodlet, and i kept him away from mean sims that made him more angry and nothing happened, i also calmed him down

EDIT: I removed my mods folder and was not able to replicate this.
