Has anyone every tried to installed updated RAM into a computer if yes how long does it take? Do you have to be w/o the computer for long? Do you need to save your games and other stuff on a USB?

@MadameLee: it is actually part of my job...I'd get some help. It doesn't take long and a lot of computers make it easy to get to so you can remove or put in RAM sticks but they are awkward to handle and secure in correctly if you're not used to it. Plus you'd want to make sure that your computer can take and use new memory, which would involve research or a knowledgeable friend.

And this goes to anyone looking at the amped-up requirements for Cats & Dogs and having to make a decision. :):p

I'm thinking a new laptop might be in my future... it's been a long time coming! Why, some of you were still in elementary school when I first got this laptop! Why, back then, we had to run our computers and laptops off of coal... which explains why we're having climate change now, so... OK. You can blame me. :s

@friendsfan367 Vista was a previous generation of Windows

@Trip What is a "Data D" drive since I have that as well as the 'normal' C drive?

It's another hard drive partition. Could technically be for anything but usually it contains recovery information in case you need to restore your computer to factory settings. Sometimes it's just to prevent the hard drive from completely filling up by being a designated empty space (because complete filling is no bueno). If you don't know what it is, don't touch it!

Reviewing Cats & Dogs again, I see we also get a new World added...

Explore Brindleton Bay. Discover the coastal shores of Brindleton Bay, a new world where your Sims and their pets can live and enjoy outdoor activities. Play fetch near the harbor docks, take a walk to the lighthouse or visit a park to set up an obstacle course and meet other pet-loving locals. Be on the lookout for stray pets that your Sims can take in as their own.

Happy birthday @ny275! I hope it still is with my timezone! <3<3<3

Octagonal roof? Finally. It was such a hassle to arrange diagonal roofs weirdly for that haha. And I'm excited for the coastal town. I hope it's a town and not a district like Magnolia Promenade!

@sunnyshay I found out my Sims had kids with someone else in my DMD world, Wraith. It is strange to find out especially because it didn't fit with my story line. What did you do?
