I decided to try and make a household based on classic Hollywood comedy duo Laurel and Hardy. I made them using only base game content and Seasons umbrellas; the exchange lists some other EPs and SPs, but I think that must be a mistake! In any case, they are cc free. Their names, in my version, are Stan Stanley and Oliver Ollie.

I just got a new computer and after installing the Base Game I patched to 1.55 and made a few Sims that are Base Game only - specially for this thread.
Base Game Only - made when only base game was installed on computer - patch to 1.55.
No CC - made on a new computer that had only Base Game patched to 1.55 installed

It's taken me about a week and I've finally decided now would be a good time to post pictures of Chuck Baker.
He's the final of my 8 Base Game only sims. He's been on the Exchange (and had a few downloads - thanks to all who liked him enough to download him) for a while now. I put him into a game in Barnacle Bay with another Sim I just made. Just for their photo shoots. I won't be saving the game.

His traits are: Brave, Family Oriented, Handy, Natural Cook, Artistic
His name is Jamie Brown. I got a few screen shots of him at the beach in Barnacle Bay. I had to be quick with the Pause button though - he's a lively sim and really wanted to be in the water. I tried to stand him on the sand with his back to the water - he wanted to be swimming so he kept shouting and spreading his arms wide as he took a step backwards. It was a bit frustrating but I was laughing out loud by the time I got the pictures. I managed to get all of his outfits. Not in any particular order though as he had his own ideas about what he was going to wear at the beach on this particular occasion.
When I'd finished taking pictures of Chuck Baker I went looking for Jamie Brown who should have been waiting quietly on the beach for me to be ready for him - this is where I found him.
I had to get him out of the water - fortunately he obeys commands very promptly - but then he very quickly makes up his mind about what he'd really prefer to be doing and does it - so the pause button is very handy and the finger hitting pause has to be fast. He didn't like being in his outer wear in particular.

I think I'm going to have to play him in a game soon. He's going to be fun.

Yes, probably add a note that we should list expansions required/recommended. (Traits from expansions, additional traits from University Life perks, and Occult States.)
The game is pretty good at removing and replacing outfits that aren't available when loading up imported Sims, so don't worry about that.

I've tried going to that detail - it takes a long time. There is a hint at what might have been used on the Exchange Items page for each sim or build loaded.
I have added another sim this afternoon. But won't be making any more as I've just put a heap of package files into my game and don't want to risk loading a sim that has CC on it.
Just a bump. @EA_Mage put the thread back into general discussion for us, but somehow it managed to lose itself onto about page 4.

@PalmArrow Aw man, Those Laurel and Hardy Sims looks A-W-E-S-O-M-E. I remember how one time, I got really sick around Valentine's Day and I spent one day on the couch watching nothing but Laurel and Hardy shorts... Well by that, I mean falling asleep while watching L&H shorts. They're one of my favorite comedy acts, next to the Three Stooges of course. I loved the one L&H short in which Stan has a toothache, I thought it was hilarious. It got remade into a Three Stooges short called I Can Hardly Wait. ^_^
