Non-played sims and played sims wearing weird outfits when I am with a different family

I don't know if this is a bug from the parenthood pack or the patch, but I am finding during gameplay townies (even my families marked play) are seen with random outfits thrown together(tops hats with the chef jacket, bathing suits with slippers and random accessories, etc).
All these townies were created by me after I deleted the pre-made so i know it is not in their outfit slots. And when I bring them into CAS to change it they have their outfit made for them on, but when I exit CAS to go back to gameplay it reverts back to the random outfit in gameplay.

It also happening in gameplay when I switch to my second family, and sims from my other sims family show up with an outfit that's not theirs and everything looked like it was thrown randomly together.

I have reseted folder, reinstalled, move my Mods out, and it still does the same thing.

Edit: I am about to open my game so I'll post some screenshots of the issue.

I also am having this issue, it is quite annoying, I have already posted on AHQ EA site which is annoying in itself to get the site to work

Same here, I already posted extensively on the AHQ thread. I've started a vanilla test save and pretty much all game generated NPCs, as well as any Sim that attends a festival is wearing one or more items from every single accessory category. The game generated Sims even seem to have this issue (to some extent) with their everyday wear. It's annoying to the extreme.

Ugh, same. I wasn't having this problem until I recently starting playing again before I bought Parenthood so I think it's related to the patch. Everyone in their insane get ups just cruising down the street like it make sense to be in a formal dress and a llama hat.

I too have noticed this issue since Parenthood, both on NPC townies and my own Sims when I am not playing them. I don't know if this is universal, but I mostly notice these bizarre "outfits" at festivals.

FWIW, I have this problem too, and I don't have Parenthood. I did recently add several other packs (City Living, Vampires, Dine Out), but no Parenthood. I find it mostly happens to MY played Sims (when I'm not playing with that household). They show up on community lots in ridiculous outfits (like the original post says, costumes and random hats, etc.), and I know they have a full set of planned outfits chosen by me. Or, I go back to their house after not playing for a while, and find they've donned their own set of bizarre clothes. It's minor, but frustrating, and really goofy-looking when they show up on community lots and interact with my other Sims as bizarre-o versions of themselves.

I was having this issue, but because of all the other bugs/glitches, I didn't even think about it being an issue. Thanks for bringing this to light.

I'm doing a legacy challenge and when I move my cadet sims out of the household and look at them a couple days later, they are almost always wearing a knight helmet! I find it hilarious, but quite annoying. I've also found random sims walking around with Darth Vader costumes on. :D

If you have MC Command Center mod , there is a setting that can help with the issue . It is in the MC Dresser module.

The setting is in the MC Dresser module,
It is found in
MC Dresser > Replace Situation Outfits
