Hello! This is where I'll be posting all my updates and photos for my Not So Berry Challenge. My holidays start at the end of the day, so I'll have plenty of time to post photos!

I am NEARLY there! Nearly nearly! Not gonna lie though, the time pressure is really getting to me. Rose has four days before she ages into a young adult, which is when I'm starting the next generation, and Mint has 2 days off of work! She needs to get going, man!

The house! I know it's very pink, that's because I don't think red looks good as a house, so I just made it pink instead, lol. Also, I did use the freerealestate cheat to buy this house, but the Berry family did have enough money to get the house for Rose anyway. It just wasn't possible to move her out by herself, so I had to split the households and blah blah blah.

While Rose was at work, Eric and Mint had lunch together
Rose got pregnant! VERY unexpected, honestly. I thought I clicked woohoo, oops. Wasn't planning on having a child this early, but oh well!
After Rose told Eric she was pregnant, they decided to have a shotgun wedding
During the wedding, my game unfortunately was glitching. I guess it recognised Eric as a butler, and I couldn't technically marry him. I just had to pretend! Here's the 'ceremony'

She's already pretty independent. She puts herself to bed, feeds herself, goes to the potty herself, teachers herself things etc
Rose is already level 8 of the politician career! Yay! Not to mention, she already finished her aspiration! Woohoo!

Here's Marigold's room. I went for a very yellow theme, and I tried to go for a 'homemade' look. Since her mum's pretty elegant, she still decided to have some regular furniture

The first thing Marigold did when she arrived at the new house, was dispose of the stupid strawberry cake! Good riddance!
AND FINALLY, THE HOUSE!
I am EXTREMELY annoyed. VERY ANNOYED. So, the two of them went to a quaint, little pool park for a day date. It was a great date, legendary to be exact, and I then planned a second date at a VERY fancy restaurant. There, I was planning on Christian (the guy) asking Marigold to be his girlfriend. Well, I accidentally clicked 'ask to be girlfriend' instead of 'kiss' and I tried to cancel the action. It glitched and registered her as his girlfriend anyway, so I didn't even get to see the interaction

Christian and Marigold went out for a fancy dinner, where Christian proposed! Also, Marigold had a space taco, so perfect for her.

So even though I haven't been posting on this much, I have been playing a bit. I'm sorry I don't have many photos from gen 4 and 5, and I've collected a bunch of gen 6 photos which I'll send in a different post.

Also, I think I should probably mention that at this point, Aubrey (my plum sim) already has two children. One, Athena, born to her husband. The second, Lucinda (the heir), born to a one night stand that Aubrey had after divorcing her husband (Tom).

Lucinda always felt like she was the unloved child. She was a child born from a one night stand, she was an accidental pregnancy. No matter how many times her mother told her that she loved her just as much as she loved Athena, she couldn't help but feel out of place. Out of jealousy, she never built up a relationship with her step father. This backfired on her, however, because Athena and her father had a really close relationship, and this just made her feel more left out. As the years passed, she only began to feel more bitter. Much of the time, she turned to food for comfort. She found a love for baking, and found that she had quite the sweet tooth. Her mother noticed how much she was eating, and told her to stop. As a result, Lucinda began to steal food from her neighbours. The more her mother tried to control Lucinda's poor diet, the more the two of them drifted apart. By the time Lucinda had graduated high school, she was completely swamped with anger and bitterness. She moved out the first chance she had, even if she had barely enough money to get by.

Now, I'd like to add to the story I've got going, because it's fun.
After moving out from her parents' house, Lucinda quickly finds a job that she feels like she could actually enjoy. She's out working in the streets for...someone, and although she isn't being paid much, she's having a great time!
Meanwhile, her love life is pretty adventurous. Lucinda was never one to enjoy commitment, so at the moment, she is enjoying her bachelorette life and playing the field!
Unfortunately for Lucinda, playing the field often ends in disaster, and she is no exception. Lucinda has fallen pregnant to a lazy slob, and the minute she tells him about her pregnancy, he leaves her alone, and she hasn't seen him since.
During her pregnancy, Lucinda continues to work. Her pregnancy is miserable. She has to deal with the morning sickness and other health issues all by herself, and of course she still has to work to put food on the table.
When she went into labour, the only friend she had to call was her sister, Athena. The two of them go to the hospital, where Lucinda has a short labour and gives birth to twin girls!
The first moment she saw her little girls, she immediately feels something she hasn't felt before: love. Although she was never in a position to be a good parent, these little girls are what she's needed her whole life. All her life, all she wanted is to be loved, to have validation, and now she has babies who she can love with all her heart, and who will, in return, love her with all their hearts. At least, that is the plan.
Lucinda loves her twins, but she sure as heck isn't a good parent. But hey, she thinks she deserves credit where it is due. They didn't die or get taken away! and to her, that is an accomplishment in itself. Her babies are growing up to be bratty, bad mannered toddlers, and Lucinda has no idea what to do about it. But when she meets Venessa, that all changes...
