Ooh I love it @folala! I love the nod to lucky palms (throwback Thursday, but not on a thursday haha) The floor patterning is really intricate and I love how you use the roofs to create these cool layers! Great work!
Thanks @fabtiffsim for your enthusiasm about my build! it means a lot!
haha, no I am not a lawyer (yet) nor do I have a feud with them. I'm still in my undergrad, and my program involves some legal courses. My dream job would to be a space lawyer (like deciding who gets rights to which planet), but at this point I think that only exists in sci-fi novels.
Ooh the sims should have a space lawyer career, I think that'd be exciting
I've been lurking this thread for some time. Finally working on an entry for the latest challenge. I'm pretty excited! Thanks for running such a unique competition.
Avid TS3/TS4 player, wannabe storyteller, novice builder.
Looking forward to seeing you around!

Back story: (Tell us what is up!)
The quaint town of Murkwell is simple. When the town was established many years ago, the first citizens stumbled upon 2 abandoned wells, and a few run down huts. Unsure why such a promising plot of land had been abandoned, they settled and moved their families and friends in too. Shortly after they tried drawing water from the well, with no luck. After some time, and almost giving up hope, they stuck water! Elated, the townsfolk gathered around the wells as the water was drawn. Their cheers turned to disappointment as the first, and every bucket after, was full of nothing but murky water. Thus, the village of Murkwell was born.
The town still manages to get by and over the years has established a small market and a community garden. There is also a chapel, and woodworking shop, and a community kitchen. Currently, the town has 8 dwellings and some unfinished areas for growth.
Murkwell is a very nice medieval town ! @commeuneplume It was great reading the background details of why it is called that name! The design and layout of the town looks very nice! Very nice community gardens section! Sims will enjoy growing and harvesting plants in the planters and gardening boxes there. The market stalls look so very great! It looks very nice how the fruit , bottles and candles are placed on the tables, for each themed market stall. The Tudor exterior design of the buildings looks very nice! Very nice Chapel! The seats look nice placed on either sides of the room, with a passageway down the middle. The statue looks great in the Chapel. The candles on the fromt tables and the ceiling candlelights look very nice , and the stone wall texture gives a great feel and look to the building. Very nice bedroom areas in the homes.
Sims would enjoy living in Murkwell!
Thanks very much @rosemow@fabtiffsim@Ainsleyf & @24Lunaa @commeuneplume fantastic village! love the community garden & market!
I'm quite tempted to go with a typical European medieval village too. They're so pretty but I'm still thinking. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone else's though.
Yes there are many different options! But even if you go with a "typical" medieval village, do something that makes it less typical! Give her a lil twisty twist!

I like the way that sounds too... there's always the French village in TS3 to pull inspiration from too!! I just thought of that, I loved that place. I loved ts3 SO MUCH MORE than I love 4!
