Oh my goodness I'm so happy I found this thread. I've been pulling my hair out since parenthood dropped. I had the constant friendship gain blinking above sims and the manners etc wheels constantly flashing and going up and down. I've been messing around with all of my mods updating them to no avail but I orgot about UI and now I've updated it, deleted the old version, and everything works fantastically.

I have another inquiry that I can't find answers to regarding updates, but I'm sort of limited on how to address it on the forums. Any chance someone could PM me regarding nomosaic and "non barbie" mods? I would really appreciate it.
@dana8 are those reported working mods, or broken, or updated?

None of my mods has not been broken by the new patch 1.30.105 (01/06/2017)

Both the mods by TheFoodGroup on MTS ( Custom Food Interaction and Custom Drink Interaction) are compatible with the latest patch and is working properly.
When used with other out of date mods (both script and non-script) a last exception is generated but when when used alone there is no script error generated.This is giving rise to some confusion. If anybody is getting errors mentioning these two mods please check with only these two mods and also update your other mods.
I will add the Parenthood GP stove and fridge to the Food Interaction mod and the Bowling SP Professional bar to the Custom drinks Interaction (Waiting for Sims4Studio to be updated)
I'm having this really weird problem with my game screen becoming a strobe light occasionally or when clicking on something? And in build mode when I zoom in/out all of these black & white patches flash on the screen? I read this entire thread and removed/updated all of the broken mods listed. Has anyone else had an issue like this?
New members can't post links is all. Re. the last exception, if you use MC Command Center, @Deaderpool might be willing to look at it. It's not something I know how to make heads or tails of. I'm not sure it even would indicate if it's the game or a mod causing the issue.

@luthienrising apparently the parenting patch or it's fix turned the height slider mod http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=588159 not good since if a person with a restaurant tries to interact w/ either their employees OR the customers there's no actions (or you can't click on them at all). I know it's that piece of Mod and not anything else since I tested the mods. Yet until now I was able to play a restaurant like normal and I had the height slider mod (the Jan version) for awhile. I'm testing it out on a fresh save to see if there's other problems with the mod.
You can use the height mod but just don't own any restaurants well you do it appears
So happy I found this! Been back and forth to different sites and pages all day updating mods and CC and hoping for the best. Forgot that some CC does, eventually, become unstable. Most CC works fine and never needs an update, thus easy to forget. And then you have those wonderful creators that lose interest in their own work. *Heavily Sighs* Can't say that I've found anything that has caused any crashes....yet... just that endless loading screen or error reports, but I will post if that happens to be the case.
