they're high rise pants! You(a woman) wear high rise anything to flatter curves..why would you then cover your body with an oversized shirt? :?
Because they're comfortable? Sometimes I (a woman) don't prioritize flattering my curves over more practical concerns. Imagine that! And tucking in shirts is usually awkward. If you're not tucking in a top, flowy shirts usually look better since they don't show belt buckle bunching and all that.
Looks like more of a personal taste issue rather than a bug.....
True. I don't think it's a bug, but it does look lousy. I am quite disappointed with the cut and fit of the clothes. I have seen better from new CC creators. UGH.
Nothing to see. I don't even care about the forums.

I didn't intend to be rude.. everyone has their own tastes, I know. The post was about the jeans....they look weird. I've never owned jeans that protrude at the waistband like that and I doubt that I can go to diesel to find some. </end rant>
I agree I wouldn't put my Sims in those if I was just going to cover it up with a longer top, so I feel your pain. They kind of look like high rises do when you've just lost weight, haha. Maybe they left a little gap like that so that tops that aren't absolutely skin-tight will tuck in?

Disappointing. I've been waiting for some nice high-waisted jeans for ages and it looks like they still haven't come.
I don't know if it's a bug, more like just poor design.
Those trousers qnoftheamazon posted are awful! Don't get me wrong - I LOVE high waisted jeans. It just looks like Diesel ones have a strange cut and poor choice of other clothes to go with.
Like the OP tried to mirror, high waisted trousers always look amazing with a simple, fitted top.
(I personally find high-waisted trews very comfy :P If anyone can point me in the direction of some nice CC ones I'd be very much obliged. I've been searching for a while now and have come up with nil)
Oh my god! Those jeans on the Diesel site look awful...I did some browsing on their site and all their jeans for that matter are questionable. Odd fit, too much destruction/texture, or both!!! They look better on my sim lol
The characters are pixels and therefore nothing is written in stone on how clothes will fit.

Haha. I don't like belts actually... but I was using the shirt to show what I mean

I agree sometimes comfort is more important!
