Chair preferences

I'm sure my family isn't the only one where we have our preferred chairs, both at the kitchen table and in the living room. So how about a patch allowing sims to set their preferred chairs? For example they could have one favourite dining chair, a favourite place on the sofa (think of Sheldon's spot) and perhaps even a favoured living chair too.

@Mariefoxprice83 haha, I was thinking of something like a Sheldon spot, but yes having a preferred spot at the table would be great, I don't know if TS3 had a patch like that. I just remember my sims sitting in the same spot.

It's a good idea, especially at the dining table. It could work like the "claim" action on the beds.

Plus it would presumably get rid of that dratted scenario where sims decide to eat their dinner standing by the fridge. This has been happening in one of my families and I have to tell them to sit at the dinner table or on the sofa. I may have to move the kitchen closer to the dining room though - very bad design on EA's part!

This is a great idea. I can't ever get my family to sit together at the dinner table to eat their meal at the same time and on the right spot. And preferences would be more realistic. Just like the bed claim that we now have in the game.
