How did I miss this? I love the wood bump-outs on the sides of the brick volume, the general harmony of proportions, and how the ground floor spaces are all cleanly defined despite the openness of the plan. Very good work!

My word! I literally thought "how did I miss this" just like Xinqun! Life in the City is stunning! The interiors are so posh! And, I love the overall look of the exterior. It's charming! I'd live there! ;) Great job as always Hun! :)

I started this little guy around Christmas but it got put on the back burner for a bit. I've been a little on the slow side with building lately. I'm waiting for that burst of 'building energy' to hit me and hit me Hard. :p I have four different builds in various stages right now but every time I start on one, I find myself thinking about one of the others. Sigh. At this rate, I'll Never be done!

Anyway, Wren Cottage has been done for a few weeks now and being my typically slow self, I'm just getting around to adding it over here. It's a little cottage with the master bedroom on the main floor, along with an open dining and living area. The additions on the sides contain a kitchen on one side and a study on the other. The upper level has two kids rooms and a full bath. The basement has a family/game room, a teen bedroom, playroom, home gym and a full bath. Outdoors has a pool and a nice perfect quality fruit and veggie garden. Here's a peek:

    Exterior views:

Had already spotted your awesome and super cute cottage build on the Gallery, but I'm so glad you decided to add it here on your showcase as well with additional pictures, cause omg, it is absolutely even more wonderful than I thought! B) The exterior has a lovely design, really like how you used all those different wall patterns, it gives the house so much character, yet because of the colour choice it's also still very cohesive, wonderful job! And that landscaping, so so so gorgeous, I could spend hours in this beautiful garden or hang out by the bbq and pool. Moving on to the interiors, one word, stunning! All these rooms fit the cottage style beautifully, yet are also all unique and fitting for what they are (like the super cool teen bedroom! B) ) So many creative ideas going on this build and all executed to perfection, yup, another WrathofCath knock out build! B) Wonderful job Cath!

Stunning cottages Ms Cath♥♥ I have already 'walked' through them both in game. Soooo pretty. Wren is quant and charming, but Periwinkle is my favorite. The name makes me giggle .. hehe. LOVE the décor and the garden is lovely. Glad to see you are still building. ♥♥

I just can't find the time, nor the inspiration. We really need 'Just a Stuff' pack. No theme. No extras. Just stuff. AND it needs to be every day, ordinary, use often, stuff. Half-square items would be wonderful. More items that 'click' to shelves. Spiral stairs!! Better counters. A believable fridge and stove. (did that make sense?) AND I still need a curtain that can be used on every single window. Sheer maybe. My lack of enthusiasm is showing, I know. But with as much money as I spend on Sims, asking for a few things, should not be that much of a pain. I MISS the store. I enjoyed shopping for new items EVERY month. This waiting around is killing me....ugh.

Sorry to rain on your beautiful builds Ms C. ♥♥♥♥♥

Oh wow, Periwinkle is another winner! Beautiful cottage architecture and I love the swimmable pond, wonderful landscaping! B) Hehe, I love the idea you had of building a starter, but then looking at the interiors I can see you saying, 'Oh plum this, no budget restrictions on this one!' And I'm glad you did, the interiors are breathtaking, absolutely gorgeous designs, each and every one if the rooms! Awesome job! B)

@Cassee, Hey Cass! It's SO nice to see you! I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know that you've checked these homes out, in game. Thank you! <3

You did not 'rain on my parade' at all. I'm just sorry that you lost your inspiration to build... I absolutely agree with you about needing a LOT more decor items. Would love to have Everything you listed and then some. I miss shutters for the exterior, bunkbeds, some kind of turned stairs and more colors for Everything. A just "Stuff Pack" would be awesome to have. I game for anything and everything. :p

I hope you find a little inspiration soon, Cass. I miss seeing your creativeness! Hugs, <3

@rosemow, Thank you so much for your awesome comments, Rose! I still don't know how you find the time to comment on SO many threads, Plus run your own challenge thread! Your a marvel! :)<3

@Corwim, Thank you for your most awesome comments, Wim! Truly appreciated! And as far as the budget decision, I never even made it to the interiors, when I knew I couldn't keep it down. :p:D I just got too carried away with the all the extras for the exterior, which allowed me full reign for the interiors, hehe!

@lisa17ann, Thank you so much, Lisa! To be honest, I'm really not quick at all... The first cottage had been done for a while before I put it over here. I was already working on the second, hehe! :)

@StSciurus, Thank you so much! It's So lovely to see you!

Two stunning new cottages, each one as beautiful as the other and they really do look like they belong in a storybook. The landscaping really takes my breath away, you have the most wonderful ability to create 'rooms' outdoors :)

Well, Cath I have looked at several of your homes and must say that I shall be visiting you in the gallery. I have bookmarked this page also to be able to come back to it as needed. I do not have the time to look at each home but the few that I have perused are stunning. I am always looking for homes to use in game and I think I now have my two favourite builders. Thank you so much for sharing! :p

This home is another one that has been sitting in my library forever, just waiting to be finished. I seem to have a lot of those... :p I thought the colors for this home reminded me of Spring, so I went with that idea for the landscaping and name. It's pretty big home and would suit a large family nicely. It has six bedrooms, master ensuite with an adjoining nursery, guest ensuite, girls room, boys room and one for a teen girl (in this case). There's a good sized eat-in kitchen, formal dining room and living rooms and study. Their are two porches with various skill items for learning. The yard has a pool, patio with dining area, perfect quality garden and a cute play area for the kids.

Starting with the exterior and overhead views:

The interiors can be seen in the Spoiler below, if you're interested.
Stepping inside the entry you will find the kitchen straight ahead with the study off to the right. There's a small back hallway off the kitchen that leads to the back porch (not shown):

And finally, the last bedroom. I made this one with a teen girl in mind... if you need a boys room... uh-oh! :D I usually make the teen room more suited to a boy, so it was kinda fun to try this for a change:

Spring Meadows is such a very pretty home! :) Very nice exterior design of the home! The floral outdoors areas look so very, very nice! The flowers look so very pretty lining the pathways and edges of the home ! The greenery covered trellis porch area looks very nice! Sims will enjoy playing chess or painting on the easel there, in the outdoors air. The cherry blossom trees are pretty! The colour of the exterior walls, and the flower box windows look vey nice. Very nice roofing! Very nice kids outside play area! They will have fun playing with the dollhouse, on the monkey bars and in the sandpit. The toys rug is a special place for the kids to play in the sunshine. They will enjoy sitting at the table having a tea party! Very nice pool, outdoors living and bar patio! Sims will enjoy sitting at the umbrella covered table having a drink from the bar in the very nice outdoors floral setting! Nice follly sitting nooks for sim to sit and relax. The flowers look so pretty surrounding the follies ! The statues and birdbath are nice touches in the patio area. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! It is a very detailed family home! It is very nice that there are six bedrooms in the home. The furnishing and colour schemes of each of them look so very nice! The fireplace sitting area in the master ensuite looks so nice! It is nice that their is a vanity table nook in the room. I won't post about all the rooms in the home because it is a very large home but I am enjoying looking at the pictures, and our sims will very much enjoy living there! It is a very nice and special home! :)

@WrathofCath This build is simply stunning. I've been wanting to make a Sim that has a really nice, sort of vintage-y looking house and I do believe I just found it! Going to go make that Sim today so I can test the house out. So beautifully done, everything about it is wonderful. Amazing work. <3

@lisa17ann, Awww thank you so much, Lisa! <3 Thanks for the compliment on the pics too! My computer is fairly new, I got it at the end of Jan or beginning of Feb, and I had SO much trouble taking pictures with this new guy... I've never had any trouble before this, with either S3 or S4 until then. It's hard to get the camera to hold still, while in play mode taking them with TAB on. I think I'm finally getting the gist of it but it took me a while and it's still NOT easy. I miss just being able to point and shoot with no motion or traveling (if you know what I mean) Anyway, thanks again, Lisa! Hope you have a nice weekend!

@rosemow, Thank you so much for your wonderful comments, Rose! <3 So very much appreciated!

@BlindxSecrets, very nice to meet you! Thank you for your most kind comments and for stopping by for a look! I can't tell you how much it means to me, when someone likes my build well enough to put in their game! The ultimate compliment. Thank you!
