Honestly there is really much left that I could possibly want. We're getting a family/generations GP soon, Pets sounds like it could be the EP for the year and I'm hoping Seasons is on the way. After that I guess maybe a fame pack and a GP for witches and that would be about it. Everything else is extra.
I would like a librarian career. That is not do promote my own profession.
Also, I would like more Indian clothing: sari, salwar kameez, kurtas, alternative clothing (punk, goth, ect)
Paperboy/girl
seasons, seasons and more seasons
pets
having a magazine delivered ?
Shopping to either be bought or delivered
I like the delivery option for shopping. You can add UPS deliverer as a career option for teens or adults.
I really don't want the paper being delivered again. My Sims always had at least 20 on their lawn before they would clean them up.
Open world and transportation even if we don't ever get cars at least let them look like they are taking one this waling business really annoys me. It is just plain stupid like when they had babies grow up to be children now they fixed that one with toddlers it just isn't normal.
Fantasy EP or GP - witches, fairies, swordplay
Seasons EP
University EP
Summer holiday pack of some kind (GP?)
Some random thoughts:
Sewing machine and pottery wheel
Layerable sweaters (jumpers to my fellow Brits), coats and scarves
More aspirations for children
More clothing and hairstyles for children and especially toddlers
Something to make the teens and elders more specialised life stages
An attraction system like we had in Sims 2
More club customisation options
More emotions - fear would be a good one, especially with vampires and aliens in the game now
More walk styles
More hats, for everyone. I don't much like most of the ones we have.
I miss pets, seasons, and university... also would love werwolves and magic, like witches good and evil ones... these are on my wish list... I love sims 4 I have owned sims 1, sims2, sims3... all expansions for all games... just love Sims...
Burglars for sure. Found it odd they never put them in the get to work expansion since it would have been a good add on or at least a patch, since they've been in every sims game.
More jobs. Like part-time work like teens can have would be good. Also a Teaching Career I feel like is needed along with a fashion related one too? Just really waiting for that pack or expansion to help with better story progression as well.
Oddly enough I miss PHONE BOOTHS from sims 2, but with technology as it is and everything modern phone booths are pretty non-existent (i know it is where I live) that and I do miss landline phones in homes., but guess they're only good for immersion purposes when every sim has a cell phone.
What's missing for me is having cars. shower woohoo and teens that look like teens. Please make them shorter than adults. I would love to see people woohoo in their cars.
I think having the ability to wear a jacket over any shirt in the shirt section (of course) would be cool. Like if we go through shirts choose one and then go to the separate category jackets and put it over the shirt. (It would make is so your person could have a signature thing like always wearing a certain hat but now always wearing that jacket with anything even if there's no shirt beneath). Another cool edition would be preteens to complete the ageing group but adding toddlers was amazing!
I would love love if this game had pre-teens, they're in the Sims Freeplay version however those are pretty lame and they have little clothing compared to everyone else. A SIMS 4 pre-teen would be ten times better and would be nice to have the forgotten age group
....

Lots of RL people have cell AND landline phones (like me). And then there are people who do not have cell phones.
So why not having both...
I would LOVE to have landline phones come back for our Sims, too.
And OF COURSE SLOW DANCE Pets and Seasons

I often use the landline at home, because I have a pay as you go mobile.

Yeah I hear you. Although The Sims is "just a game" I would still like the landline phones back in game.
'Cuz for me The Sims is more than just a game

One more thing I'd add is the ability to give gifts to other sims. Or being able to mail things to other households. A lot less awkward than sending a sim to a total stranger's house - /knock knock "Hi, let me cheerfully introduce myself! How was your day? Shall we discuss interests? Are you single? Okay great, but I'm really just here to harvest your death flower, kthxbye."
I really miss weather and pets so much and really hope that these two things will soon be added to Sims4, I am so very pleased that you have added Toddlers, as I had really missed that element in the Sims. I think being able to actually go to work with the sims, is a fantastic addition to the game, but hope that there will be more careers, that you can accompany your Sim too, like tattooist, teacher ,firefighter, lawyer. But most of all pets and weather are top of my list.Thankyou
More individuality for the sims. Something like a personality pack could be an awesome way to really focus on developing the sims themselves. I would happily have no objects or anything, just stuff about the sims themselves. Some examples are likes and dislikes, and interests - so that making friends is more about the sims than just how many positive interactions happen. Make some more - or less - compatible together. Having a specific compatibility scale they're on would be cool, alongside the friendship scale. It would be fixed on some things - traits mostly, but could change as sims develop similar interests from hobbies and work. Very compatible sims become friends quicker, because they talk about similar things together. However, low compatibility sims could still become friends if they share some interests and do these together enough - say in a club. Also, make different activities more enjoyable, or less, based on them too. Sims who dislike cooking could be annoyed when they have to cook, or work as a cook. Those who like it could find the career easier. Like or dislike music types. That could be fun if they start working at a shop or restaurant playing music they like or dislike.
The friendship bar could be longer too with more places to be. No longer become best friends after hanging out at a party. Great acquaintances, yes, but really good friends should take longer.
I really want the sims to also be randomly assigned hidden traits or abilities and features that we discover over time. Now, I appreciate some players like to choose everything, but as long as the traits don't hinder things, it would be cool I think. For example, some sims could have an aptitude for cookery, or music, or sports, and only discover these if they pursue this path - and it gives them some special abilities. They could also like/dislike some foods.
Sliders for traits would be awesome too. Make a sim somewhat flirty, or ridiculously flirty! Very outgoing, or very introverted. Again, it gives the options to make each sim unique. Current trait system is cool, but why not just put all of them on sliders and make it however we like?
I think the environment moodlets could be more interesting too. Generally, they're easy to max out and don't make a lot of difference to gameplay. I think objects could have different qualities. Maybe homely, classy, shabby, and why not nasty as well for the bad stuff! Sims with different likes/dislikes could respond differently to them. Maybe shabby liking sims don't like going to a classy restaurant?
Family specific interactions and relationships as well. I don't find any real difference between a sim hanging out with friends and a sim spending time with their parents or brother/sister. Just some unique interactions for specific relationships. Again, sliders or even hidden traits to make them say, a bossy parent, or a relaxed parent. A teasing sibling or a friendly one.
Interactions could count longer term too - maybe they develop traits based on them. Children with more relaxed parents could grow up more carefree and casual, for example.
More ways to edit family relationships too. It's difficult for example to make an existing sim's parents and bring them in to the game.
Well, this turned in to a way longer list than I planned! But I feel just even a few of these would make things more interesting.
Oh, and seasons, pets and werewolves would be awesome too. And spiral staircases, and supermarkets/outside markets to buy food - including stuff the sims can't make themselves. Shopping should give sims moodlets too. Why not go clothes shopping to buy outfits in CAS, and have moodlets just after buying them, and then when wearing them? Still be able to do it the regular way at home with a closet, but also be able to do it at the shop for extra effects.
My hopes for the Sims 4 are EPs like... Seasons, Pets (Including horses, maybe even more of a variety of animals for pets, like bunnies) or even a farm like type RP (Cows, chickens, farm life), Fantasy (Witches, Werewolves, Fairies, Mermaids) and University.
I don't have an entire packs worth of stuff, rather just little odds and ends that could be added in patches.
Rain/Thunder
Burglars
Firefighters
Sounds in the background (remember in the console Sims 2 hearing howling and barking even though there were no pets?)
Washers/Dryers with quirky animations to fit the games style
Just little things that make it more fun and relatable.
There are a load of "little things" that are missing, impossible to name 'm all.
But
Holding hands while sleeping like in S2..
Holding hands while sitting at the table...
Slow dance..
Newspaper..
and get slapped when caught cheating amusted me the most.
And of course Pets and Season.
„ - Criticism may not be agreeable, but it's sometimes necessary - “
College, cars, pets, seasons, magic, Servos/Plumbots/Simbots, other science fiction ridiculousness (such as time travel), celebrities (TS1 style, not TS3), private school for kids/teens, more vacation destinations. Turn-ons and turn-offs. Miss Crumplebottom. Telescopes that aren't the size of an entire room (and can trigger alien abduction).
So uh, basically every EP from past Sims games.
Give me what I already paid for in past games, and TS4 might very well be the perfect Sims game.
Well, that and if they removed all the little annoyances like culling and the lack of any real consequences.
Townie generation that isn't so... random would be nice, too (sort of like how in TS1 and TS2, townies were created according to certain archetypes. You had the "blonde bombshells", the geeks, the jocks, the cassanovas, the artists, the hipsters...)

Definitely. The little touches that made Sims feel like real, living, breathing people are sorely missing from TS4.
