Transferring games from one computer to another

Hi,
so I want transfer my game from one computer to another but my computer a winders 7 and the laptop windows 8... how do i saved and move it?
I saves my "saves and "tray" on a usb already...but i cant seem to find my sims4 folder on my windows 8 laptop...HELP!!!

Hello.
If you haven't installed sims 4 onto your laptop, log in to origin using the account that you use for your windows 7 computer, go to my games section, then go to the sims 4 picture and download/install the game.
If you have already installed the game,the location of the Sims 4 game is : Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 folder.

Also, if you've already installed the game but don't have the Sims 4 folder yet, that's because you didn't start the game. Starting the game will create that folder. Then you can exit the game and copy the stuff over from your USB.

Hey! I attempted to transfer my SIMS 4 game to another laptop, I created a new folder and tried to save it to my external hard drive but it didn't transfer and my entire game that I have played for almost a YEAR disappeared! Help me please!

Here's the process:

1. On your previous computer, navigate to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4
2. Copy these folders to a USB key:

Tray
Saves
Screenshots
Mods
Recorded Video

3. On your new computer, start the Sims 4 and exit it. This will create the Sims 4 folder - let the game do this.
4. Navigate to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4
5. Copy your USB folders (Tray etc.) to the computer folders (Tray etc.) and let them write over.

Hello @klhenderson
Do you still have your sims 4 folder on the old computer? If you do, try copyijg the " saves" and " tray " folders again to the external drive and see if it transfers that time.
