Bowling Pants - are they supposed to look like this?

I noticed the new pants with Bowling pack have this weird triangle issue around the knees.

I don't know if they're clipping or made to look this way, but can't fathom why there's these sharp glitch looking bits sticking out of the pants that don't seem to fit in with design.

I included screenshots for clarity.

    Looks like creases to me.

Yes, I think they look like creases as well, to give the pants texture and not looks so flat. (:

I don't think the ones sticking out are meant to be there. I think the pants were made for men, and when they converted them they had a mistake. I get they have creases, but the things sticking out a lot don't look normal.

Yeah, the stuck out edge shouldn't be there, I don't think.

Well, just pretend they are the new fashion.

Every Sim will want a pair.

    Even toddlers.

Looks like someone on the line needs to be fired for poor workmanship. :open_mouth: Seriously, though, the word Seamstress comes from the laborers whose only job was to sew one seam on a garment. Finished with that seam, the work was sent to the next in line to do her seam. Over and over and over again. What a life, eh? My Mom used to call herself a seamstress until someone corrected her. After that, she called herself a dressmaker, since she made the entire garment and not just piece-work.

As for the pants, I'm thinking somebody goofed a bit. I don't believe they were meant to look like that. With little tufts of fabric hanging out like a chad from a ballot. I have not yet explored the clothing that came with this SP. I'm guessing I should have a look, eh?

It's called wrinkles. I don't have this pack yet so I can't verify if it's just you or is it the same on all computers.

@AtomicSimmer, are you advocating our Sims get irons and an ironing board? Who does that anymore? Seriously. Unless they're made of cotton said pants should not have wrinkles.

Hey, I would love irons and ironing board in my game :D

I am not sure about the pants, hadn't noticed it yet. I will have to go into CAS next time and check it out, and see if pulling on the upper/lower legs will fill it in, LOL

*hands @AtomicSimmer some of this, for the wrinkles!*

Those creases look natural on male sims but bad on female sims. The gender sharing on pants has made for some low quality looking work.

    agreed with this
in new packs there are often unisex items that look as though they were properly made for one gender and improperly ported to the other
probably the situation with these pants

Now I can't unsee it. It does look like it's supposed to be a wrinkle/rumple though. Part of the style of clothing they're going for, I'm sure. And it may have ended up a tad more intense in the rumpled department at that part of the jeans than intended. Possibly from moving over male to female, as Cyrus suggested.

I wonder if this is something that can be fixed. It's a tiny thing but it looks horrible. The wrinkle theory makes sense but the way it sticks out doesn't look like a normal wrinkle, more like a bad conversion haha. I tried it on multiple female sims had same issue but not yet attenpted with males. I'll see if it's just as bad. I know it's a small thing but when I pay for content I want it to be smooth and not look so out of sorts.

I rarely use male pants, shorts, or shoes on the females because they do weird things to the females' legs and ankles. I think eventually they will fix these items, but new content is a priority for them right now.
