Hi all! I'm quite new to MCC. I wonder if I can make a townie pregnant with another specific townie? As for Mark for pregnancy, the spouse seems to be random if the marked sims is not in a relationship with anyone and Immediate Pregnancy the spouse will be the active sim. Thanks in advance
Hi Zorelora. You sound like you have been investigating these settings quite a bit. MC alone will not give you the micro management of the situation without some fiddling.
In the end it might be quicker and easier to just load up the father to make them the Active sim, use the command line code to bring up the mother (mccc jane doe). You can then use the MC Sim menu to start the pregnancy using the MC Pregnancy --> Pregnancy Start Use Active command. Your MC settings will need to allow a pregnancy between the two for the menu to show. (Enforce family, affairs, same age etc)
If you keep the game on Pause, you can accomplish the pregnancy without any time passing. Save back to manage worlds, mark the NPC father as 'Unplayed' in the manage households UI and bobs your uncle.
If you really want MC alarms to do the job I have a workaround you could try but I have never done it myself. I might give it a go. Come back and ask if you want more info. (Tried a workaround and it Didn't work) Unless, somebody else has a clever idea the above technique is the only way I know of.

If you've downloaded it today, then it's something in how you're installing it, or something else going on that may not be set right.

I just did a side-by-side comparison of the mc files in my game versus the one Deaderpool shows in his help section. I can't find any mc_dresser cgf in my folder, nor is there a MCCC 3.0.2 Troubleshooter PDF showing. I seem to have everything else. Can you please tell me this: What should I see on the UI, if all is well? And am I right in my thinking that the UI is the 'control panel', (for lack of another name) by which we select a Sim and are able to check on their needs, et al? Thank you, in advance

So if you can see the blue message box top right (highlighted in red) that means you have MCCC installed:

Not great screenies, done super speedily in Paint, but hopefully it's clear enough. UI just means user interface, and is the buttons we click to access the mod and the game's features.

The Troubleshooter PDF became obsolete when we moved to Tumblr. And, superfluous. (Oooh , TWO "big" words!!) It's all there now, for both parts of MCCC, except the game-specific shots like the Script Mods Enabled screen, which we all can get to locally.
The mc_dresser.cfg file is created when you use Dresser to whitelist or blacklist a CAS item, OR when you Save an Outfit (under Outfit Commands). If you haven't done any of that, you won't have that file.
MC UIs come up on the computer, sim, relationship panel, and mailbox.

My first suggestion would be to check that you have re-enabled Custom Content and Mods for your game. If not that, then work through the help section.
I had an issue because I had mad a sub folder for my mods which worked with the older MCC but once I updated to current mod it wasnt showing up in my game so I had to take mods out of sub folder and put them in directly in my Mods folder then they showed up. Hope this helps someone.

Will move an inactive Sim from their current household to the household specified by “household_name”. If “active” is entered for household_name, then the Sim will be moved into the active household. Only works as long as their is room in the household based on the “Maximum Household Size” setting, and as long as there are not multiple households with the target household name, and as long as the specified Sim is not active

This setting allows overriding the default EA maximum household size of 8 to another value, up to 25. Note that when you have more than 8 Sims in a household, there are some in-game issues dealing with CAS. You have to use “Modify in CAS” for the Sims that are after the first 8 in the household from the “Sims Commands” menu. When a new update from EA comes-out, if you try to use the update when MCCC isn’t updated, it could cause problems dealing with these households. This is the same as any household size change mod, but I just wanted to make sure it was noted here that these things should be kept in mind.

I'm cruising in to say that sim_move is even better than the Full House mod where you could not move babies.
You can not move sims to an emty lot so you must first move in a sim to the lot you like to move sims into.
A problem with >8 houshold was that when you lika to split a household of 16 into two 8 sims households with the Houshold manager there must be at least one sim older than teen in both households. With the latest patch teen can live without adults so it is easier to split.
There is probably a limit in Household Manager. I just discovered that the game crashes when you open Household Manager and it just started to show the families. I think I set the “Maximum Household Size” to 30 and there was some very big households that made the game crash. I don't know the exact value. of the limitation yet but with sim_move that is not a problem.
New (small) bug found in MCCC 3.3.1 for one setting... @rosemow
Sim_Death_Only_On_Lot
If enabled, when a Sim dies either through gameplay or by using the “Kill Sim” command, they will only have a reaper show-up and leave an urn/gravestone if they are on the current lot itself. If they are walking in the street, no reaper will appear. This is how the default gameplay works but if this setting is disabled, they can be reaped anywhere in the streets or current lot.
MCCC > MCCC Settings > Gameplay Settings > Sims Die On Lot True=default
Leaving it true is fine. If you set it to false, you'll see something like this:
