The march theme was going to be deep. I had a lot of inspiration but I'm probably going to start writing at the end of the month because of my procrastination habits. Although i'm the same with @lovestorms where I love to write at early in the morning. Although my time was usually after I woke up 5 to 6 AM. I do have little notebook, but it's usually for work idea.
@lovesstorms@AkramA I totally relate. Although I also love sleep. The two don't mix very well hence my tendency to procrastinate like a pro. Entirely frustrating! lol
Hey guys! Just a friendly reminder, you have until the end of the day (central time) to vote for February. In case you missed it, here's the link: http://poll.fm/5rfo4
EDIT: Aka, you have a little over 9 hours to vote.
Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun with the February theme and loved reading all the entries! Congrats to everyone who placed and participated!
@mllemurasaki : I'm looking forward to you joining us, it's a lot of fun to write around the changing themes every month and get to see all the different interpretations reading all the awesome stories everyone comes up with!
Hey I've been a silent reader since the beginning of this thread and even a bit before that! I've only just gotten an account so I haven't been able to comment on anything. So let me make up for it! All your stories are amazing! I am so jealous and in awe and wow! Can't wait to see more of them!
Well, that is very kind of you, @Alpha8 ! You know, I always just kind of thought, even back on the old original Short Story Challenge thread, that most of the reading came from the participants, and there weren't a lot of quiet lurking readers, so that is kind of eye-opening to know that!
If you like short stories, I have compiled short stories on the Simlit story index I maintain, the Stories and Legacies Index, on this post, so there are probably some there that can tide you over in-between when the next slew goes up.
And if you ever feel the writing bug strike you, we love having new folks participate! I find it's really fun for the creative process to think about how the rotating themes can apply to an existing Sim story or just provide inspiration for a new idea! And of course, the best part is, as you said, getting to see all the amazingly different ways everyone takes the same exact theme in their works! Reading all the entries is so much fun!

That's awesome! Hey, now that you have an account, that means that you can submit stories to the challenge yourself! We can always add more participants. ^-^

Phew, I have had ZERO time this month, I'm hoping to get a sudden burst of energy but so far, it's not happening! Really looking forward to reading the entries though!

Hm, wonder if I can write something for this month? I'm feeling something humorous, actually...
