Teen voices changed?

I just had my sim meet a teenage boy and he sounds like a woman. I'm sure this teenager is a boy, because it's a family I created myself and plopped from the gallery. 'Tis weird.

Maybe they'll change as they age, but I never met a teenager sound like that.

It has happened to me once or twice in the past, but the voice returned to normal once they aged up. It may be a glitch or something like that.

There is a bug with child and toddler voices in CAS.
For example, I set adult female sim's voice and turn her into toddler (or child). Then change her gender to male and change (now him) back to adult. The adult male sim will then have female sim voice and other way around.

I encountered that too. My sim met someone called Lucas Munch in Windenburg and I just thought it was a butch girl at first because he had a female voice. It was such a confusing situation that I just had my sim leave.

Maybe his voice is just breaking, that was a bad joke. But this happened to me the other day, I went into cas and my characters voice was on a different setting,

I've been waiting for my male teenager to reach young adult to see if he would 'finally' get a male voice, unfortunately he still has a girls voice.

You can use the cas.fulleditmode cheat as a workaround change the voice in cas.

My female Sim's singing voice was so deep, she could barely sing the notes! Her talking voice was pleasantly female. So, I don't know what happened there. I'm not liking the changes made to the voices. I just wish they could have implemented the change for those who wanted the transgender possibility, with the checking of a box. Such as we can do to allow clothing for one gender to be used by another. This way, perhaps, it wouldn't interfere with those of us who just want to keep playing the way we always have. I'm not at all in favor of confusion.

Same here. ALL of my men who were toddlers before sound like women now, even as adults. This is a major bug and should have been fixed a while ago. I thought it was funny at first, but when all of your male sims sound like this, it's not

Every. Single. Male townie in my game has aa female voice if they were a toddler or younger at any point. Even my playable males grow into childhood with the sweet voice and keep it. Forever. Ugh

But it continues when they're young adults, it's not just when they're teens!! I'm amazed no one else is complaining about this. It's a major issue with every male sim that grew up from a toddler.

Its not just males who grew up from toddlers. Alexander Goth and Lucas Munch both are teenagers now and have female voices in my game. Neither of them were ever toddlers. I really hope this bug gets fixed soon.

The workaround is to change the voices of the sims either through manage households or using the cas.fulleditmode cheat.

I also have this problem i did change there voices back via CAS but its every male child that ages so spend most of time changing the worlds teens in CAS, so i hope they fix it soon.

I'm having the same problem. I grew up my male sim to a toddler the day he was born. Then I baked Birthday cakes. One to turn him from a toddler to a child, child to teen and last from teen to young adult. Maybe doing that caused some problems, I'm not sure, but his voice is definetly a female sim. I grew him up with birthday cakes because last time I grew a sim up in CAS they mentally stayed a child. I was able to fix that problem by making a cake and growing the sim up that way..

Try entering entering the cas.fulleditmode cheat and then take him to into cas, and change his voice.
