Yes I'm still loving toddlers. I can't seem to help but make babies. But yes when they get to teens esp I'm like soooo you disappoint me. I played some on the weekend but been very busy at work, so not a huge amount of time.
The sad thing is how great all life stages could be, judging by the toddlers. I hope we see some packs to make the other stages as good.

Same here! It's so weird because when I have a toddler in the family, I have so much fun playing, but as soon as they age up and there are no toddlers left, I feel empty. Babies, children and teens feel empty. It's like toddlers don't fit in TS4 because they are so well made when all the other lifestages are still lacking so much. I desperately need a Generations pack. I thought that toddlers would make me want to play the game again and finally enjoy it, and they do, I even bought 2 EPs, 1 GP and 3 SPs after the toddler update (I only had Outdoor Retreat before), and I'm still planning to buy more until I get all of them, but lately I've been taking breaks from the game because of all the annoying bugs that aren't fixed yet but also because, as a family player, there is still so much missing. I think I'll wait until Pets is here (if it's indeed the next EP), and hopefully they will be great as well and add more life to my families. But I bet that after a while, I will still be left with this feeling of emptiness because the younger lifestages will still be the same.
Ello Ello everyone! It's been so long since I've been in this thread. I think the last time was 2015? perhaps lol. It's nice to finally get to post back here especially on such good terms! I remember while we all hoped and gave ideas and thoughts about missing tiny bundles of joy along with family play in general how it was soo important to us and so many other simmers.
To fast forward now, it still feels like a dream lol. The toddler hype is definitely not wearing off because their ofcourse apart of my family play. To finally be able to create my kids in the game was pretty darn fun lol. To see the traits feel so much like the real them is amazing almost scary , like that wild trait is my son 100% of the time, and here I thought he'd be a little monster. It's amazing though, It feels like everything about them, you can pretty much notice every simmer's ideas in them.
I for one am proud of everyone, from the littlest ideas to the biggest. Without them, they wouldn't be as awesome as they are . Though as @bythedreadwolf mentioned, the magic does seem to simmer down (no pun intended lol) once they become teens. But maybe with everyone's input, they could finally give teens a good pack.
Well honestly i'm crossing my fingers for 3 packs: Generations EP, School GP, and a Teens/Toddlers Stuff Pack (separated ofcourse lol). Since I do hear that Pets might be next up It's good to know another family member will be joining . But I do hope that afterwards while waiting for the next ep, a School GP +teen stuff/toddler stuff gets released.
I'm surprised that 1124 pages of discussion aren't actually related to the main topic. I was expecting for people bashing each other for 1124 pages.

To everyone else struggling under illness I hope you feel much better soon. This bug has really got to me and it's taking forever to shake. Seems like there are a lot of nasty bugs around so sending everyone get well or stay healthy wishes!
I love TS4 toddlers. I'm hoping they improve the other ages as much and until they do I think I might switch between TS3/TS4 for a while.
I've had to uninstall TS3 I wanted to play Fallout 4 but I didn't have enough memory on my PC and money is tight so I can't afford to upgrade, and so TS3 had to go.
@sparkfairy1 I hope you feel better soon. My littlest has been ill all week and now I have his germs. But so far I can still manage some time on the sims

I was playing my White family in Appaloosa Plains today. They were enjoying the last days of Summer before Autumn arrives. Here is mum and teen at the festival:

The daughter, Holly, is horse mad and her parents have promised that she can adopt a horse from the shelter as soon as she reaches an A grade. She's working hard at it!
I do I guess I have only been posting here myself because I have a fondness for the thread and don't really want to see it die. But maybe people see no reason for it to keep going now toddlers are here?

I'd like a pre-teen stage, but cannot see that happening so see no point in asking for it, but the baby thing could be a possibility. Sims carry toddlers around, why not babies?
Truthfully I've just been way too busy and a bit ill for photos. I still stop by the thread though. But I'm still hoping for positive changes to the other life states. I guess the only thing that has changed for me is a belief that the team do understand what some of us are looking for in family play.
I've not played any sims since January. I've had so much on these past few months and even though I've been meaning to play and post picks I just haven't got around to it.
Im having a baby and it's a boy if your interested. My little girl has been a bit of a handful as she's going from preschooler to child and oh my what a personality she's getting. Hence my silence these last few months, I've had a lot to sort out. And a little gutted I haven't had the chance to enjoy the toddlers since they've arrived.
When I get the time to play I will post some pics. And when I'm at work I do cruise the thread to see what people have been up to and all the pics are great that people have been posting. I'm still around just not currently active on here.
Yeah I've just been too ill to play and share too I also check on the thread. But we always have these periods of quiet/busy. It's because everyone has real lives to take care of and time gets away with us sometimes
I still have the thread bookmarked and read and awesome or like anything that pops up. I don't respond most of the time as I just can't get any enthusiasm over Sims4 even with the toddlers. Too little too late for me.
@sparkfairy1 Get well soon, Spark I wish I could play and post more but having a 2 month old takes up a lot of time. I still have a save file I'm fairy active in but it's hard to find the motivation.. Me and my partner are also in the process of moving to Australia so I spend all of my freetime packing.
