A Fine Time to Lose. Written as part of the monthly short story competition.
This month the topic was "Lost".
This is the story of a gifted young doctor having to come to terms with the fact life is not always as we want it.
Everything Grows. Written as part of the monthly short story competition.
This month all stories had to start with the line "I knew I had to find it before...
Into the Silence. The April entry to the Monthly Short Story Challenge.
This month involved writing a story around a set of predetermined screenshots.
My story tells of a man plagued by his anxieties and depression.
The Bald Truth. The May entry to the Monthly Short Story Challenge.
This months challenge was the topic Growth.
I ended up with a daft tale of a rather over acted Doctor's search for a cure for baldness.

I have just submitted my entry for this month's short story competition. This time we were faced with the seemingly easy task of having to write a story around a pre-determined set of screenshots. I thought this would be easy, look at the pictures, piece them together. But the more I tried to do it the more I found I couldn't get the pictures to fit the story that I had in mind for them. Not being able to choose facial expressions or camera angle etc suddenly made things tricky. But I think I managed it in the end and I hope the result was an enjoyable tale, although the subject matter is somewhat dark.

My entry for the May Short Story Challenge. This month we had the topic of Growth. My first few ideas were full of metaphor and meaning. Then I had a couple of scary, horror type ideas and then this idea snuck in. At first I thought it was just a daft idea, then I realised that it definately was a daft idea but that I just had to do it!
I love straight to tv, sci-fi, B-movies and this idea just seemed to fit that genre. It was very tricky to work it into our 12 screenshot, 1500 word limits. I could have done with a whole lot more of both. But I hope that I have captured the essence of these films.
So, certainly not deep and meaningful, basically a bit of a brain fart, but it was fun to write and, hopefully, fun to read!

This month is about taking a word (or words) from a list of 'crazy' words and writing a story that uses it. I've got my idea but it's proving difficult to cut the words down.
I love writing dialogue but it always results in a lot of words. It's always tricky to try and create realistic, flowing chat with a word limit. People don't tend to talk in short, clipped off sentences and I find it tricky to stop my actors 'waffling'!
Also, this month I am going to be using a pose sim mod and advanced debug mode to try and get 'the perfect pose' from Dalton, and a new actor I am bringing in! Thanks to @CitizenErased14 for keeping me right with where to find stuff! I've had a quick practice, made Dalton very sad, it's a very guilty feeling! Lol!
