    new update 1.5 error

    A new update was released for the sims 3 (1.5/1.6) I downloaded it but when it is installing it says file not found. Can someone please help!

      My game (on a Mac) says it's up to date. LIES!! So now World Adventures won't even install. Cripes! :thumbdown:

      i have just downloaded it but now my game wont start:(
      it say that there is af fail.

      Mine says that, too - haven't seen the patch in the Mac forum yet either... Hope it arrives later today... I want to play ewith the basement tool...

      Im downloading it now, hope I don't get the same problem... I couldn't download it at first cuz I couldn't connect to the EA Download Manager so I had to re install it... in fast I had to reinstall my base game too. *I think it's because I upgraded to Windows 7* But Im getting my copy in about 6 hours and like I said, hope i don't have the same issue...
      SO I guess my advise would be to re download the downloader and for the error messages and stuff well idk about that, sry to hear though :(

      I also have the Mac version, which won't update beyond 1.4.6.107

      After MUCH trouble installing World Adventures from d2d, I now can't launch WA since my game "isn't up to date,'' although Sims 3 Game Launcher says my game IS up to date. I've tried every solution possible, if anyone can help I'd appreciate it hugely.

      I know, I have that exact same problem! My Mac is lieing to me! I'm pretty sure the reason why I can't play the game is because my game can't be updated ( I've tried everything else) it just tells me "service initilialization failed"

      EDIT: I hate that girl on the game update screen, she's mocking me because I can't play sims! :x
