    I had trouble with one of my worlds too. Monte Vista was a new code that didn't work. I spoke with an advisor for over 40 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong with my game, because it was factory sealed and everything. And even the advisor asked me for the code and told me that the code was still valid. I thought I was going bananas or something, until I posted about it on my page and others also had issues with Monte Vista (especially if it was a world bundled with Hidden Springs).

    I felt the advisor thought I was fibbing until I offered to provide ready screenshots of evidence (yes, I was that agitated) and I brought up other simmers who had the same issue, so they ended up giving me another code that worked. For whatever reason, my valid code just wouldn't register at all. I'm honestly scared for when I finally buy Dragon Valley and Roaring Heights gold versions, because I've been unlucky with registering worlds that aren't code-based.

    Hey all. Been a while. Life is crazy and despite ky many attempts so far I've managed to accumulate a grand total of 5 simpoints. Lots of ads that don't pay or long stretches of no ads at all. Lovely. @Nomiko13 glad you got a chance to play TS2 it was always a lot of fun. ^_^

    @Nomiko13 if you buy world from origin weather its gold or standard edition it will take about maybe 1-3 hours to register on your sims 3 account! i usually log on and off alot which seemed to help the timing a bit btw hi long time no see i completely missed about this thread XD because the simpoints box disappeard and never appeared again r.i.p and one more thing i did buy barnacle bay recently sealed and i had that invalid code error but when i talked to a advisor they gave me a new code and redeemed it for me and it worked instantly too!

    @Tamaek I've been getting more ads like that too. The option to click it pops up but then it'll say the offer is no longer available, which is agitating, since I've accumulated over 4k simpoints over the past month. And thanks!

    Hey @HSmith2016 I just recently logged in and saw that you gifted me the Gothique Library... 5 times. And then when I tried to download it, it asks me to purchase! I wanted to let you know because if you paid for it, I don't want your SP to go to waste. Anyone know how to resolve this?

    @Loveandhate, it may be an error during the gifting process. Usually when it takes too long for a gift to be confirmed being sent to the point it'll give out an error page. I've experienced it a lot and just keep on sending the gift until I get the confirmation page instead of the error one, and making sure that I wasn't charged for the failed gifting attempts.

    @HSmith2016, were you billed/SimPoint-deducted more than once from the failed/error attempts of gifting the Gothique Library?

    @HSmith2016 Have you tried using a different browser? Seems like the website is getting more buggy these days and sometimes using a different browser can help.

    Popped on to catch up after being busy offline. Noticed a lot of chat about one of my favorite (NOT) subjects, redeeming codes purchased in real stores. I've never had a problem redeeming the code initially, it's always when I want to reinstall the world when I have problems. But today I was browsing my Purchase History and was once again reminded that while they do not show as purchased in the store, they do show up as redeemed in my Purchase History and the Download button works from that page. It's a bit sad how many times I've forgotten this fact. So I wanted to share the information with others in case it applies to them. If you ever install a world with a code you bought somewhere other than Origin or the Sims Store, just because it doesn't show up as owned in the store doesn't mean you can't re-download it. Just take a look through your purchase history and it should be there.

    As for getting EA/Origin tech support: I spent 3 days trying to get them to clear up a problem I'm having getting online in game and I've just given up for now. They escalated it to a specialist, whom I was then unable to ever speak with. I was instructed to wait for a call back, which came 3 hours later while I was eating dinner. When I called back next day I was scolded like a child for not answering my phone and told to be ready to answer the phone when they called back, which they never did. Instead I received an email 2 hours later requesting a msdiag report, which I sent. I've heard nothing back. Previous to this I've always been pleased with EA's support, even when they couldn't sort something, at least they were courteous. Not this time. This time they're just cr4p for 3 days running.

    Luckily it isn't keeping the game from doing anything that matters to me. At some point I'll want it fixed so that I can give Showtime another go, but for now it isn't worth the stress.
