I really loved Making Magic. The spells really changed the world around you and there were plenty of different options. The world included was pretty fun too.

Superstar was also a favorite. You really felt your sim was a star with all the tourists stopping by to take photos of your home and the crazy stalker and whatnot. Also the minigames were super fun and silly.

Also, remember how Drew Carey would sometimes show up at your party? It was so random and hilarious.

I also liked the voodoo lady that could read your palm and cure your zombie sim if I'm not mistaken.

Mrs Crumplebottom!! She was so funny!

The burglar NPC even though I hated him lol

How the maid NPC would freak out of she saw Bonehilda haha

That stupid hamster that killed your sims. My sims always ended up dying no matter how well they washed their hands lol

In general the whole sense of humor!

Most of my favorite radio stations are
Hip hop (In TS2 1st time and in TS3 2nd time)
    R&B (In TS2 1st time and in TS3 2nd time)

I miss the cheeky slightly risqué humor of TS1 and some of the absurdity it had. From TS2 - I miss the REAL NPC characters, and the gritty consequences mixed with absurd humor. From TS3...eh, the ability to swim in world water?

    Witches in TS2
    Entire backyard playgrounds
    Terrain tools
    Create-a-Style
The large neighborhoods and ability to place lots anywhere in TS2
    Shower/wardrobe/photo booth WooHoo
Teens that actually looked and acted like teens
The ability to go on walks with strollers
The ability to actually take your baby somewhere
    Rocking chairs
    Bunk beds
    Witches in TS2
    Tombs
Not having to bake cakes (although I do like the hamburger cake)
Large towns. I can handle loading screens, especially since they're so short, but I hate how small TS4 maps are.
The ease of moving a single sim from a household and to another one
    Pets
    Witches in TS2
The crazy roller coasters in Makin' Magic
The real-life songs translated to and performed in Simlish
    Little dragons
    Memories in TS2
    Wants, fears, turn-ons and turn-offs
    Cars
Did I mention the witches in TS2?

    • Likes/Dislikes, Turn Ons/Turn Offs, and Fears.
    • Witches, Fairies, Werewolves, and all other Supernatural states.
    • Terrain Tools.
    • Create-A-World.
    • Create-A-Style.
    • Pets.

Edit: Ah, I thought you meant the whole of the series, not just TS1.

But what I miss most about that game in particular was the slightly adult aspects. It felt a little more cheeky and risque in some areas. As the series has developed, it's become more 'family friendly' and some of the satirical elements have been lost too.

i totally forgot about the likes/dislikes and so on. that would be great! it would also add more to the "get to know" option. also, i was just talking about create-a-style yesterday. where you could create your own outfit and save it right? that would be great!
