Today when I logged on I had an Origin update, since then the game has been almost unplayable, so many bugs. The child in the family went to bed but could not sleep and continuously jumped out of bed all night. She also had her arm stuck as though carrying a plate, even the next morning in the shower and would not go to school because she was exhausted, I repaired the game to try and get things going. But all of my Sims, four in this family, go off on a tangent of their own. They don't cook, even when hungry, then don't eat, the game seems to have gone haywire. I have carried out numerous repairs. I don't have mods of any description, things started to go wrong with the toddler update, now this was has really messed things up. I am holding back on buying the Vampire expansion pack, hoping things might improve.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder

Hello
It will be like that because it is a fresh new sims 4 folder .You need to exit the game. Then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the old sims 4 folder that you placed on the desktop, and place these into the new sims 4 folder. Delete the new generated file/ folders in the new sims 4 folder, ("options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders) and replace them with the old file/folders ( "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders)from the desktop sims 4 folder
