my sims want to marry sims they are married too?

so i sometimes keep getting a whim where my sim wants to marry the sim they are married too or get engaged to them that makes no sense. i mean unless there is a bug in which married sims in cas sim still want to get married.

Other simmers are also having this issue. When it occurs, you need to cancel the whim. This thread on the AHQ EA site refers to the issue

how do you renew the vows?
I belive you click on a wedding arch. I know I did it at the romance festival once!

Unfortunately, no (in my experience). It's still a cute gesture but I do wish they'd patch this soon.

Hm, I only got the daydream about wedding at the festival. Do they have like a second wedding then or what? @LunaNova

Try having your sim click on a wedding arch that is not at the Festival and see if the option appears, The sims get a married moodlet after they renew their vows.
