Just updated and

I am getting the game failed to save error starting with a 510 1505 77909...

Help Please!

Ok fixed it repaired it through Origin

it didnt entirely work. It let me save as in world view but nothing in live mode

Now my characters panel is gone and I cant control anyone in the house hold

Hello

If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder

The game is so glitchy. I have no mods and in the middle of game play all characters got stuck in what ever they were currently doing. I couldnt do anything with anyone. I used testingcheats to reset everyone and then they all wet their pants. and were still glitchy and hold to control

Hello
When that occurs, it can help to go to game options and back, or go to buy mode and back, or press the M key, and when coming back to live mode the sims will be back to normal.
Another thing that can help is to press pause, then wait a few seconds then press pause again , then return to normal speed and the issue will have been fixed.

Sometimes having a large amount of items in the sims inventories and household inventory can cause these issues. Try removing some of the items from the inventories and see if that helps

Hello there, I just solved this problem by moving a bunch of files. What corrupted my files was actually mc commands. So maybe that's the same file that's corrupting your sims from saving. I just moved the Mc Command files out of my mods and I was able to save after.

FYI there's a new update for MCCC within the last few hours.

Not surprised as mods are generally made to work with patch level when they were made, and therefore "every time" a patch is updated all mods need to be removed and checked for updates before adding back to your game or else the game generally has issues like the above. This is not unusual - by very typical of mods and something all people who use mods needs to be mindful of every time they update their game to check with mod creators that their mod is compatible or if they have an update for that mod. Never use mods made for a different patch level or else you are sure to have undesirable issues. People often blame the game - when it is just a mismatch in a mod and in some instances even CC.

To be safe never turn back on mods and CC when you update until you verify all the content is compatible.

I was having problems even with an empty mod fold. what worked was repairing and removing game folders and letting them reset.

You're not the only one getting it. I just spent an hour and a half on a very simple build only for my game to not save. I got really angry and closed out completely. I have 0 mods, 0 cc - never even been to a mod or cc site for Sims 4. Argh. Glad it wasn't one of my serious builds, but STILL. I want to check out toddlers!

Glad I at least saved the couple I created to my gallery already.

It's nearly 4 am here, so I'm just going to try to fix it some other time after I've slept.
