Important message: 22 March 2019
There is an open issue at AnswersHQ that results in Sims created fresh in CAS are aleady starting to age. The toddler stage is only seven days on normal lifespan.
Starting with aging off is allowed due to the aging glitch.
This will allow the full seven days to maximize the toddler skills.
The toddler(s) can be aged up after the first seven days.
At that point aging can be turned on again to continue to play.
You are invited to go to this link and tick the "Me too" button.
[OPEN] Age groups start with random days added
Happy Toddler (Reward Trait – Child) – This Sim got a good jump on skills as a toddler. This helps them gain all skills a bit faster. (From having all Level 3 Toddler Skills when aging up to Child)
Top-Notch Toddler (Reward Trait – Child) – This Sim got such a strong jump on skills as a toddler, they improve all other skills extra fast. (From having all Level 5 Toddler Skills when aging up to Child)

*Toddlers can play in cabinets
*Placing food on a table or counter will allow Toddlers to 'Grab a Plate'
*Choosing the Action to Form a Group will allow to Go Together or Children/Teens to Do Homework together or Dance together.
*Using the 'What's This?' option on various things helps build the Thinking skill and it is FREE.
From @SoulGal7 (Summarized)
*Invite friends over frequently so Toddlers can interact to ask for food, drink or Help with Books or other Toddler tasks.
*Hire a cook to prepare meals and clean up
*Smaller house cuts down on travel time to get from one place to another.
*Highchairs may take up too much time. You do not need one for each child and sometimes the child is not 'Let Out' before they have a tantrum.
*The more Toddlers walk, dance or wander the faster they gain Movement Skills
Thank you @Rawla
I must be completely insane. Because, for not having played with toddlers yet, I decided to go with.... well, take a look.
40x30 Lot size
Here is their little thrown-together home just to get started.
Great lot traits. I chose a 30x30 with Child's Play, Convivial and Homey lot traits.
Only on Tuesday and discovering QUICKLY these Toddlers are d-e-m-a-n-d-i-n-g
Yes. Total insanity is correct. FYI, fussy toddlers makes my Sim angry. Potty takes forever, and well, I don't know. I just barely hit the play button after building. lol Looks like you choose good lot traits too. Nice!
They can ever Nap in their highchair ... DAW!!!
I did not know they could play in cupboards. That's adorable!
Here is a mass migration into the playroom. (7th is being carried out of site for potty training in 1st pic) And the playroom itself. I know this peaceful scene won't last but its nice while it does.

@EuphorialQueen - (Challenge Feedback) I'm beginning to think 7 toddlers at once with only 1 caregiver is not possible. I'll keep at it until I know for sure. First day is not ended yet and already getting a notice about 'be careful or so-and-so will be taken away'.
I approve of the update. lol
At 4:54 AM, she settled the last one in the bed. She's starving herself, (not all toddlers are fully cared for), about ready to pass out, and not even a breath to cook herself a meal. Making money? Impossible. lol No one has been taken away yet so maybe day 2 will go better. *keeps playing*

I hired a Nanny and it really did NOT help. You are correct about making money being impossible.
I did resort to Momma Sim making full meal and put in fridge when she did have time to cook.
That way I can pull the dish out of the fridge so the Babes can Grab a Plate and not STARVE.
Edit to add:
That idea of creating a group meal for them to take food from has saved my Sim and her beloved babies. None of them have been taken away. And she's actually sleeping in her own bed right now. Wow!
Suggestion: Add a tips/tricks (or a Did You Know) to one of the posts you have reserved. Then add that one about the group meals. Though seemingly a small thing it made a very big difference in my challenge.
Will put together hints/tips and discoveries
Awesome.
