CL Another work related bug

So besides my Sim returning home from work early when I open up Build/Buy mode, I have noticed another bug in that my Sim cannot take a vacation day. The option is there on their cellphones and the message confirming they've taken the day off appears, however their status in the Career panel does not update to "On Vacation" but rather my Sims continue to miss work!
I have made sure all my mods are up to date, cleared out the cache and have repaired the game but nothing seems to work?
I've encountered bug after bug with CL even after the November 15th patch. When will the likely date of a new patch come out as I feel like giving up playing the game until these bugs are addressed?

Has the issue with the vacation day occured multiple times? If it has occured just once, try testing to see if the same thing occurs the next time that your sim takes a vacation day.
If the issue remains, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if the issues are still there.
Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder
Try testing with a different household in the game and see if the same thing occurs.

Try testing in a fresh new save game and see if the issue remains in that new save game also.
If the same thing occurs in the new fresh save game also, it would be good to post about the issue on the AHQ EA site
